Finding Peace Through Nature and Animal Care | Our Journey to Calmness and Fulfillment

Welcome back to our channel! In today's video, I want to share a deeply personal and transformative journey with you.
I never would have considered how much calmness would enter my life once I finally found my peace in becoming care-givers for animals. After leading a life of being one of the pioneers in the online media space on another KZread channel, kicking back after the years of hard work and challenges, and focusing my life on more "real," down-to-earth projects like animal keeping and raising my family in an alternative lifestyle has been a blessing.
Here at Comfort Compass, our lovely farm nestled in the heart of Nova Scotia, we have embraced a life that celebrates simplicity, nature, and holistic well-being. Our 188-acre property is more than just a home; it’s a sanctuary where we nurture our minds, bodies, and souls. From the silviculture forest with its tranquil trails and creeks to our thriving 8 acres of highbush blueberries, every corner of our land is a testament to the beauty and peace that nature offers.
We share this sanctuary with a wonderful array of animals. Our seven goats-LaMancha, Cashmere, Alpine, and Boer-bring us joy and teach us the true meaning of companionship and empathy. These gentle creatures are a cornerstone of our goat therapy sessions, where visitors can experience reduced stress, anxiety, and depression while enhancing their overall mental well-being. Alongside them, our three laying chickens and the breathtaking 20-foot diameter geodesic dome, lovingly referred to as the Comfort Compass, add to the serene and healing atmosphere.
In this video, you'll get a glimpse into our daily lives, from the soothing sounds of birds singing in the treetops to the refreshing sights of our waterfalls and creeks.
As we raise our son Maurice in this beautiful environment, we witness the incredible benefits of an alternative lifestyle. Whether he's playing with our well-trained dogs or hanging from the hammock chair in our geodome, Maurice thrives in this nurturing space. This lifestyle has not only brought our family closer but also connected us more deeply with the earth and each other.
Transitioning from a life of online fame to one centered on nature and animal care has been an eye-opening and soul-soothing experience. The peace and fulfillment we've found here are immeasurable, and it's an honor to share this journey with you. We hope that through our videos, you can also experience some of the beauty and tranquility that we cherish every day.
Join us as we continue to explore the joys of this alternative lifestyle, and discover how reconnecting with nature and animals can transform your life just as it has transformed ours.
Thank you for watching, and we look forward to sharing more of our adventures with you.

I might be commenting early on this, but just in case; What are the little nodules-sac like things on either side of some of the goats necks? They are somewhat fascinating creatures. Peace looks good on you brother!

Waddles, my friend :) They are a regressive gene - ie: a gland that used to be used at one time during the history of goats.. yet are no longer used for some reason.
