After getting a surprise evaporation line/false positive back in November we couldn't quite believe our eyes when we saw the faint line on the test... it took a few days and a digital test for it to finally sink in and feel real! THANK YOU all so so so much for all of the amazing kind comments left on yesterdays video, I am slowly working my way through all of your comments but the incredible support and love you've all shown means the absolute world to us. ❤

I'm so chuffed to hear that you're pregnant I had 3 boys before a miscarriage and I still find it hard sometimes after 25 years. You enjoy your journey with your unborn baby that is so loved and treasured as that little one will arrive soon to two adorable people 😘

That was such a lovely message at the beginning of the video, thank you from someone who desperately wanted a second baby but didn’t dare take the risk after our daughter being born at 27 weeks due to pre eclampsia. Since she was born 13 years ago I’ve struggled with pregnancy announcements etc but I think I’m getting past that now, I’m so grateful for the one child we do have and I’m genuinely so very happy for you and Dom ❤ You’re going to be amazing parents!

I just want to say thank you for acknowledging the pain of TTC. We suffered 3 losses over the space of 2 years. But in January we welcomed our rainbow boy 🌈 he was worth the wait and I can’t believe he’s here. I’m so excited to watch your journey Kay. Congrats again xxxx

Congratulations…. As an old pensioner now and a granny, I would like to add that I am so glad there wasn’t trackers and tests to buy at the chemist in my day. It must be quite stressful and anxiety provoking. This might be an unpopular viewpoint but the excitement, curiosity of waiting and the doctor ringing with the news (four days after taking a ‘wee sample’ to the surgery was magical.

I know what you mean as I was exactly like Kay when I was trying to get pregnant (my son will be 14 in a few days’ time), I was constantly checking my temperature and using ovulation sticks and counting the days until I could take (several) pregnancy tests. It’s brilliant how we have progressed to have these tools but you are right - it just aided the anxiety! I totally understand how Kay feels and so happy for them both to get this news 🎉🤗

On one hand it must heighten the chances of conception but it really does remove the magic and ultimate ‘surprise’ of tiny feet making their way into your world. It’s fast pace now. Folk panic if they don’t get a return text within minutes 🤣

Me too. Our doctor wanted you to miss two periods then he would give you a test. This meant with all three of my babies I was at least 10 weeks before it was official! Of course by then we knew but didn’t tell anyone until around four months. I guess life was just simpler then but the joy was the same. Like you Kay, I always wanted to be a Mum, and then to be a Granny, indescribable. Lots of love and luck xx

Do you know what I totally agree with this comment … in my humble opinion unless there is an absolute need to track and use ovulation trackers women should understand their bodies and trust it. Yes I was lucky with 4 wonderful babies but each time I trusted the natural process and felt less anxious and stressed and yes it took over a year to eventually get pregnant with our first … congratulations however on you wonderful news ❤

You will be the BEST mum ever! Seriously, that child is going to be a very lucky human. ❤ congrats 🎊

I also want to give you some unsolicited advice I wish I'd heard: it's okay if you find motherhood really challenging at first, even if you've always wanted to be a mother. It doesn't mean you're a bad mum or don't love your baby, a lot of factors can just make those newborn days tough. So incredibly worth it though. You're going to love being a mum 🧡

As someone who has struggled with infertility, I am nothing but thrilled for you that you were able to get pregnant quite quickly 🥰

How blessed is this baby to have you guys as parents! Congratulations 🎉! I wonder how Rory and Echo will react to having to share you 😂

You are blessed me and my husband could never have our own children at the age of 36 I had a full hysterectomy because I had endometriosis. I am now 56 and have two beautiful cats Dolly & LuLu who we call the kids. I am absolutely delighted for you both. X

I really appreciate your message at the beginning. My husband and I ttc for 11years. So many heartbreaks, so many failed tests, fertility treatments and so much pain, I finally became pregnant with our miracle child. My husband was diagnosed with cancer when I was 8 months pregnant and I later had to have a full hysterectomy at the young age of 34. I always thought I’d have two children but now, I understand why I had one. I’m very, very blessed. I’m so happy for you and Dom. Congratulations to you both. xxx

Congratulations to you and Dom. I am one of those ladies who had this heartache you mentioned. O suffered from endometriosis and had 8 losses. One was a pair of twins. We were unable to adopt because of financial reasons. Mother's day is so hard for me and my x husband. His mother passed away the day before mother's day. Which made it worse. I had a hysterectomy and the endometriosis was a blessing. When they biopsies my uterus they found a small area of cervical cancer. I didn't need further treatment because it was so small.

I cried with both happiness for you and sadness for me. I've seen the pregnant word on a clear blue test at age 29 or 30 (cant remember exactly) only to result in an ectopic and this is after a termination (hope I'm not judged) at age 18. I'm now nearly 36 and no babies sadly, currently single after splitting with long term bf of 10 years so can't imagine ever having a baby now. It was something I too had always wanted so much and it's taken a lot to accept that I don't think it will happen now. Its been hard but I think I've accepted it as much as possible. However, who knows how I feel when I get to 40 or reach menopause. It might trigger a different reaction. However, I want to say I am so happy for you and Dom and so looking forward to sharing your journey, which just proves how far I have come with healing as before I would just avoid anything baby related and to some extent still do. I wish you every happiness. You will be fantastic parents 😊❤🎉. Please can you keep a mixture of content too though, I love the cleaning routines and gardening vlogs. Sending love xxx

We were teenagers when we got married so my husband wanted to wait for a few years but it was so magical when it happened. We waited until we were both 23 and I can still remember the excitement of making that call to the doctors surgery to get the news - no self testing in those days!! I must say that I am someone in a very very long waiting period and when I first saw that you posted this video, I wasn't going to watch it... Actually I held off for solid day; not because I'm not excited for you. I'm actually so excited for you! I'm really glad I watched it because you are someone who acknowledges those of us who are in limbo or experiencing pregnancy loss or even loss of a child. So, I must thank you. Thank you for sharing your light and your life story while bringing such a calm and graceful presence to your corner of the Internet.

Congratulations ♥ I can imagine how overwhelming all of it must have been...or still is :) My husband and I tried to have a baby 13 years ago but soon learned we could not have one without medical help. That was the moment for me NOT to follow that path anymore. It just did not feel right. Now I am 46 years old and although I feel a bit...sort of "melancholic" (sorry, I´m not a native English speaker/writer) to watch videos like this, I never regretted my decision. I still think, if I should have had I child, I would have got one. But someone or something just had other plans with me. Anyway, I wish you and your little family ALL the best in the world ♥

I was a late tester due to previous loss, though I had to take a test before going to the dentist, incase an ex ray was needed. The dentist was delighted to be the first to receive the good news! That little boy, our rainbow 🌈 is now a healthy 7 year old, and brother of our 15 year old. Thank you so much for your sensitivity at the start.
