Finding out about a new holiday... Finding out about yourself. | K-von | TEDxReno

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Comedian K-von, was born and raised in Nevada but discovers there are more to his cultural roots then he thought. He embarks on a journey to learn all about it and invites you along for the ride.
he star of MTV’s hit show “Disaster Date,” K-von’s humor has made audiences laugh all over the world! His hilarious hidden-camera show displays his talents as each character proves funnier and more outrageous than the last. On stage, K-von has become a crowd favorite as he pokes fun at himself, current events, and of course, the perils of growing up with a dad from the Middle-East, and a mom from Middle-America. Performing internationally as a headliner and hosting special events year-round, he often shares the stage with comedians like Maz Jobrani, Russell Peters, Daniel Tosh, and Brad Garrett just to name a few.
About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Scripture says..build your house on a firm foundation and you'll be happy... if your house is crumbling you need to call on the greatest carpenter who ever lived and repair what is broken...Jesus.... our countries foundation is crumbling ...and we the people are not happy..Pray for the US 🇺🇸 🙏

+Shohreh Shahani Not at all, That is Haji Firooz that forced into Now-Rooz by Islam, no such guy who he begs, as a slave, existed in Iranian Culture, until Islam and their slavery kicked into Now-Rooz. the Amoo Now-rooz or Mir-e-Now-Roozi is one that lasted for over 3000 years. to know more about falsification of Haji--firooz go to this site 1400years.org/HajiFirooz.asp
