After more than two years, the Theater in the Wild at Animal Kingdom has finally reopened, presenting a revamped stage show inspired by the 2003 film Finding Nemo. Similar to its predecessor, Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond features live performers utilizing puppets and props, complemented by expansive animated backdrops to narrate this Pixar classic. The theater incorporates various special effects to replicate the vast, oceanic big ol’ blue. Situated between Expedition Everest and DinoLand U.S.A., Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond resides in Animal Kingdom’s Theater in the Wild. Despite the theater seats not being the most comfortable, the dark and cool ambiance offers a refreshing place to cool off after a lengthy, hot trek through Animal Kingdom.
