I worked in a bridal shop in college and the woman who said your dress does not exist is not a good bridal consultant and probably was just annoyed that they didn't have what you were looking for and wanted to make the sale. your dress definitely exists, even if that means needing to add sleeves/working with a designer to change some things

Dress 14 is gorgeous on you, the neckline was really flattering and the satin looks amazing. I think if there was some beading to give it more detail and the sleeves that you tried on with the other dresses would be perfect

Hi Mia! I’m a wedding planner and I have seen MANY dresses in my career, and first of all, your dress MOST definitely exists! The sales rep was probably trying to make the sale. With that said, the dress that you were confused to why you didn’t feel right in it (although it was the closest to your style) I think the reason you felt that way was because the bodice enclosed and overtook your upper frame. You have a very delicate upper frame and in most dresses you have shown on your channel that are sweetheart, they really have to be closer to a Demi-cup look so that it doesn’t look like it’s swallowing you :) I LOVE the fairytale over the top embellished look on you, because you remind me of a fairy! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! The square neckline looked classic and beautiful, but will that look be satisfying to you on the long run? Try a scoop neckline if you can find one! Also, There are dresses that are satin and lace and they don’t clash-another misconception on your rep’s guidance. I would look into transition dresses that have lace skirts that are removable for the reception and underneath is a slimmer empire style skirt in satin! Check count Aire Barcelona dress line!

I was also thinking this about it being overpowering on her frame. But as a bridal consultant I’ve told many a bride that they don’t have to know why they don’t like something if they truly can’t put their finger on it- it’s like a date that was slightly off. You don’t have to analyze why you don’t like the person and when the right one comes you’ll know because it will feel completely different and that “off” feeling won’t be there! 😊

Dress #14, my fave by far. The pockets and petal-like shape, so gorgeous. Reminds me a bit of Thumbelina in her flower home.

LOVE looking back now and seeing how the inspo pic you pulled up at 3:37 ended up being so similar to what you ended up with! So happy that the fact that your dream wedding dress "didn't exist" did not stop you from getting exactly what you wanted!

Dress 4 was absolutely gorgeous and would 100% be my wedding dress. Looked like an elegant fairy dress, and would look amazing if you added a poofy sleeve! Fitted you amazingly as well and really showed off the beauty! I also loved dress 6 a whole bunch too! :)

The bridal consultant at my first 4 stores basically told me my dream dress didn’t exist and tried to convince me to just buy something I liked without having the “moment” The 4th store I went to had exactly the style I was looking for and I cried when I got my dress. Don’t let them tell you your dress doesn’t exist.

I honestly feel like they do that because they work on commission and their job is to sell the designs at the store, so they're just lying to try to sell something. There's no way, especially with the access online to various brands and shops these days, that she wouldn't be able to find THE dress that she wants

@@punxie89 that’s 100% what they are doing. While they do want you to find a dress you like, they do need to make money too. They can’t direct all their customers to another store otherwise they will lose a lot of money. They just gotta try their best to find a dress they think the customer will like that’s within the store and convince them it’s the one.

Just what I though. And to think teuta matoshi does have a wedding dress line, just saying, she could also try have the dress custom made...

When I got married (15 years ago) I bought the dress that my “entourage” liked the most, not the one I did. Make sure you go with where your heart leads you. When choosing the dress, go with what you feel and not what you think. The perfect dress is out there, whether you design it yourself or find it in a store, and you will know it when you find it, just don’t overthink it. Congrats!

YES to satin! And crepe!!! Both are classy AND whimsical. No lace doesn't mean it's not whimsical. Look at Sadie Robertsons wedding look!

Dress 8 with the sleeve was chef's kiss perfection 10/10. The sparkly fringe and the satin ones looked great but #8 looked AMAZING on you and seems to fit your personality and theme.

When I say that EVERY dress looked fab on you, I really do mean it! But I am a big advocate for the straighter neckline on you, and a huge YES to the sleeves! I adore the satin and how elegant it makes everything look

Dress 14 is I think one of the most flattering for your frame. I love the more square neck as well. I would just add a bit more detail and beading to the top with some matching sleeves and it would be stunning. Satin definitely is eye catching. I think it's just gonna take trying on a few more to find out what you are really going for.

It's like watching Safiya picking a wedding dress 😂 dramatic sleeves is everything!

My mom designed her own wedding dress in the 90’s and to this day it’s the prettiest dress I’ve ever seen. If you’re not convinced try designing your own dress

I LOVED the 4th dress SO much on you!!! your hole face just lights up and you shined in that one💖 not too much at all!

I promise you, once you find your dress, your eyes will tear up and you will just know. No matter how many opinions you get. That moment you will feel like the prettiest lady in the whole wide world. You did look stunning as always!

Totally agree with this. I ended up falling in love with a dress that was about as far away from what I thought as possible. I tried it on for some fun after about 7 different bridal studios and about 40 dresses and it had a cape. I teared up seeing myself in it.

When you “clashed” the fabrics, that was my absolute favorite. Something about the simplicity of the dress and then the sleeves looked so beautiful. Whatever you choose is going to look stunning Mia!!!

i'm so in love with dress number 4 and 5, it's so fairytale and whimsical like you described it. although, i understand when you said dress no.4 is competing with you to be the center of attention.

I’m not getting married anytime soon but I’m the sort to really plan things out. I was just casually looking at some wedding dresses to see what I liked and I ended up accidentally deciding exactly what I want. So now I got this very precise image of what I want for my wedding dress and I’m gonna be disappointed if it’s anything less but the problem is I haven’t found any real wedding dresses that are like my image so I’m gonna need to get it custom made. I think it might of been Mia who showed in one of her other videos a website were you can order custom dresses and stuff and I’m thinking I’ll probably do something like that.

I'm really jealous of their family bond. Everyone is always so supportive of each other, actually enjoying each other's presence. Also, I really hope you'll get yourself a custom made dress. Looking forward to the result! BTW, when's the wedding again? Was it ever mentioned?

I wore a satin dress for my wedding and it was amazing!! Things to consider… 1. Weather on wedding day and vibe of venue 2. Tight dresses can get uncomfortable throughout the day! 3. If you’re going to hold flowers, don’t let the dress overpower them :) everything should complement!

Dress 14 is STUNNING on you. Adding a sheer batwing type sleeve with lace at the bottom could add enough, but not too much, whimsical feel. I don’t have Instagram so I can’t go see the other dresses you tried on, but your dress definitely exists! Even if you have to piece it together one section at a time!

14# was the one I had a genuine reaction, despite it not being even remotely close to what you imagined yourself in, the simplicity was beautiful, it highlighted your beauty in all the best ways and complimented your body type so well, it was eye catching without being distracting, because as a person who had attended weddings, it’s very easy to get lost in the details of a brides dress and almost miss the moment and the bride. Dress 14 is amazing! My wedding dress was also satin and it was so comfortable, beaded or lace dresses tend to be so heavy and weigh you down. I believe comfort is a huge deal when it comes to wedding dresses because you will be wearing it for a long time.

I really like the neckline decision, and I love both styles of dress. You have convinced me of the value of the very soft satin or whatever it was. I think a skirt that princesses out looks best and I love love love your sleeve decisions. I know this is probably not even helpful, but you got this ❤

I honestly loved dress #9 I loved the clashing of materials, the fit of the dress with the slit and the little swoop front was everything 🤍 the sleeve I feel brought it all together, gorgeous dress.

Number 9 with the sleeve reminds me of Lord of the Rings elves. Sooooo pretty! Also, never let a Bridal shop tell you a dress doesn’t exist, they are just trying to deter you from shopping elsewhere. You can always get a custom wedding dress made if you REALLY want to as well!

I agree with you, I love the clashing fabrics of the silk dress with the sleeves. Granted I didn't see the difference in person, but I see your vision and the two pieces look gorgeous together.

I also liked the “clash of the fabrics” I imagine the satin dress with the sleeves that they put on you (dress #9) and they connect along the lower back and go down into a train moment. So beautiful lace sleeves and train and a satin front
