I worked for the city of Elko in the 80's. Just wanted to clear up the idea city funds were used for signs along the roads.. I was tesponsible for the budget and no funds were used for the signs you mentioned. Just wanted to clear the air. Thank you

You need to do research before you move to a place,this place has many jobs, contractor jobs vending jobs,Elko is a place that has never seen a. Depression cuz of how the mine business is there,so if you can't find a job n Elko,you either don't want one or you just lazy,

This guy will never live down that his collar is tucked in on one side. I was just in Elko a few months ago, cute city. People that lived there said that crime was getting worse. I felt safe but was only there a day. It gets cold after summer is over, so if you don't have housing, you will want to head south.

The businesses UNDERSTAND EXACTLY what they are doing. Cheap salve labor. Advertise the promise of jobs, make the workers homeless with no options and the business profits. Rinse and repeat.
