On February 24th, 2022, Vladimir Putin shook the world. War returned to Europe and the world changed overnight. The images are devastating. Millions fleeing for their lives. For years, I've been covering the world's conflicts with CNN and ABCNews. I've been on the ground in Ukraine, seeing with my own eyes, how Russia has been taking over big parts of Ukraine. But in everyone conflict I've been to, there's always hope. Because by risking it all, they can help other people. An army of people are responding with incredible acts of goodness.
