i remember how i learned to ride a bicycle in a parking lot, my bike had training wheels & they got bent a little at a time so i could fall a bit to either side until the wheels touched & sometimes there were those in-between moments where i felt the freedom of balance.... eventually, the moments of balance became longer than the moments of being held up & the training wheels became a hindrance...so my dad took them off & it was like flying...

@paulmetdebbie447

What you describe is detached witnessing. This is an intermediate position to become aware of the separated person. Going beyond even this is becoming aware of awareness itself. This is intimate and not cold, it is love.

As soon as I reread the original post I got it. Call it a senior moment or a brain freeze, the important part is that you both expressed yourself well. I enjoy reading comments from people that are serious about their dedication to pursuing the practice as it doesn't actually come up a lot in day to day living. At least not in mine. So I think you both for posting 🦋
When the spiritual teacher raises his finger in stillness, his message would directly be understood by me if in that moment I would have been high. Because I could perceive it with much more heightened senses and he would immediately bring me in the present moment in an intense manner

There's one thing in this transmission that didn't feel right at all. When Eckhart mentions: "If you think your life is a big success, you are in a state of temporary delusion". That's not true. My life is actually a big success and success is something that we define on our own terms. For me, success is continuous growth, excitement, and a grounded feeling of satisfaction within. I am finding myself mostly in such a place and it is not a temporary delusion. I assume that there are also others who do and feel attracted by your teachings as well. So we exist, haha, we are real, we did the work and know what's real and what's not! Thank you for the rest of the transmission, I totally resonated with it!
I Love You
What about listening to a person talking “non stop” (without gaps) in a conversation? How to have breaks in listening and being able to respond in the conversation?
@paulmetdebbie447

What you describe is no conversation.
I recall a famous "Free Climber" who was addicted to the process of climbing up a cliff without a rope, just using his hands and white chock. We was successful in climbing the most challenging cliffs in the "Free Climb" community. I think he never understood how that activity drove out his ego and he was in a constant state of presents. He loved it. He's dead now, in is 20's. Some people live to 100 and never experience the presents of the true self. Question, if you had to choose one or the other which would it be?
That's good.

Does this translate to our passions and things we love to do as our escape from ourself? Is the reason we have “passions” that we often say “lose ourselves in” we are able to find ourselves in causing us to be fully present in the bow of doing what makes us feel “alive”? Like is that what you’re saying? Is there a connection? I think I get that we get addicted to things that make us feel free. Because we think that we feel so peaceful and alive due to whatever we are doing or not doing within the moments of consciousness?
