Bless our orthodox brothers and sisters in Ethiopia. Sending love from your Anglican sister in Christ.
It make me soo proud to be orthodox ❤️
I was in Ethiopia 2wks prior. God even in capital city Addis, the church is open 7days in a wk prayer....all devotion is so amazing I never felt such a peace of heart just by sitting at the church compound, it is so unexplainable. Thank you for sharing this amazing video ❤️
He deserves more recognition cuz he walked 200km about legends to just put it into film of 50:24 minutes, watched maybe by someone who is just bored scrolling through youtube.respect for this man 🎉
I've watched probably hundreds of travel videos so far and David is by far the best: it's a wonderful mixture of professionalism, knowledge and personal experience - these movies make me feel like I AM in this places, like I KNOW the people he spends time with; the guy has a great talent to interact with people, he's very open minded, very flexible and friendly.

Doesn't matter if there are errors in parts of the documentary, the presenter never purports to claim it is a scientific fact finding mission. As an Ethiopian, I found this documentary to be one of the best told accounts of an outsider's perspective on the historical, cultural, and spiritual importance of Christianity to the Ethiopian people.

Great empathy, great understanding. Excellent coverage. An eye opener for me. May the God bless you with energy to make many such documentaries.
My homeland, Ethiopia, remains enigmatic within this world. It continues to be a place of immense religious significance, boasting a rich heritage in ancient Christianity and a culture steeped in tradition. Its industrious population should not be judged solely by the values of materialism prevalent in today's society. Ethiopia unravels as an absolute mystery, deserving deep exploration.

Every Tewahdo church in Ethiopia and Eritrea must have a Tabot, a tablet containing the Ten Commandments that Mosses received from God. Essentially a copy of the original Tabot or tablet. Each church is also named to a patron saint. During the once a year celebration of the patron saint, the tablet is taken out of the sacred altar for a special tour around the church. It’s covered and is carried by a priest, followed by priests and the faithful. The tour is to remind the faithful that they are ruled by the Ten Commandments, God’s law.

Well, I'm 'liking' this because of the easy pilgrimage we were just able to do, and being able to see Ethiopia and to meet the people at least in a small way, but not for "finding the Ark", which he clearly was not able to do. Nor for the comments about myth and faith. Something is either true or false. The Christian faith is about believing in something, because it is true, not because you want some kind of mystical wishing that it is true. God gave His only Son so that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. If we believe in a lie, we suffer the failure of that in which we believe. If we believe a truth, we gain the benefit of having put our faith, our trust, our belief and our action into and in support and proof of our belief, which will succeed, because of its reality and truth.
Anyway the Ark of Covenant is in the hearts and minds of the people of Ethiopia, excellent summary of the story. I would suggest that The Sign and seal, a book by Graham hankok has relative answers for your questions.

Ethiopia’s ark? People have gone astray just as the Bible says they would someone tells them a made up story and they run into disbelief going astray. Ethiopia has no ark or anything else they made it up. This is talking about Ethiopia going astray and never being saved only Israel is saved. It’s talking about them being brought to Gods people as slaves but then set free upon arrival anyone talking about God need to know what they’re saying or they will go to hell. Isaiah 20:3 and the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia; 4 So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt. 5 And they shall be afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory. 6 And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape? Isaiah 45 13 I have raised Cyrus up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts. 14 Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over after you and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no other God. 15Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. 16They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together with the makers of idols. 17But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.18For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. Ezekiel 29 10Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia. I have plenty of scripture that goes with this but to get people to read the Bible instead of listening to men is a daunting task just because one of us married an Ethiopian it doesn’t make them Gods people in fact not all of Israel is the chosen to hold such things only Ephraim which are English.
