Finding colorful rocks at Petoskey State Park in Petoskey, Michigan

Petoskey State Park is mostly sandy but there are rocks there. We found Unakite, fossils, granite and others. Petoskey stones have been pretty well picked out of the water.     It's so hard to look at rocks in the water when you got waves like that. I usually give up and go to another beach. Loved the video footage. Nice beach to lay out on or go swimming.

    We go to Hoeft State Park and the beach just south of west t, right on Lake Huron, just now Ruth of Rogers City. If you liked Harrisville you will like those! Beautiful park, lots of fossils, cladapra, horn coral, favorites, death plates. It’s an awesome place. Love your videos! We also went to Petosky State Park and found sand 🤣. We found more Petosky stones on a dirt road here than at Magnus or Petosky State Park, but the area looks s beautiful. Keep up the awesome videos! We love our Michigan ❤️
