I'm aware there is a few seconds of blank video at the start. I've uploaded this video 4 times and it's still doing it, although on my end it works fine. It's a weird KZread artifact. Hopefully the video is still useful and enjoy for you.
Thank you . I'm an old school bass fisher and I am disappointed with about 90% of people who instruct wrong on setting up a baitcaster reel ! They always say the first thing to do is crank up the brakes ! The spool tension is the first thing to set up . Turn the brakes off. Then adjust the spool tension . Then the brakes .

It really was! Ever since she got bitten by the bassin' bug she's wanted to catch a fish on topwater (don't we all?). I'm sure that was the first of many. I am truly fortunate that she wants to go fishing with me!

Thank you for this. My wife and I love fishing but we only have space for kayaks and definitely not the disposable income for electronics. I’m hopeful that your tips will help us be more productive in the limited time we have to get out on the water.

I fish from the bank so electronics aren't something I think I'll ever use but I can still find fish. Caught 3 a few days ago on a ned rig and one was close to 4 pounds.

Not really. As long as the trolling motor has a battery charge, then I can go pretty much anywhere. I do usually avoid anything windy since I'll just get blown around like a leaf, though.
Not only is top water is great way to locate fish, but it's such a fun way to catch them! It's hard to beat a good top water blowup! Way to go Mrs lowbrow, that was awesome and congratulations 👍!

Google Earth is not real time satellite footage so what you see on the map is going to be completely different as far as water level, vegetation and structures.
