I really enjoy watching your videos. I'm relatively new to Michigan mushroom hunting, as I've only lived in northern mi for just over 6 years now, but I absolutely love it up here. The mushroom hunting is usually great up here, but the weather conditions have sure put a hurting on the spring mushrooms this year. My son and I moved up from southeastern KY right after he was born. Last year I found 40 lbs of morels in a couple of days at one 10 acre location, but this year I only found 11 individuals at that same place! Thank you for the great informational videos, and keep em coming.

In Northern Michigan stands of aspen seem to produce well . Burn areas also produce the tear following the burn . The UP does have morels . I hope you find some this year . Don't forget Apple trees . Large mature Apple trees are great places to look .
