I’m always so shocked how they get such easy ones to me wrong but I’ve loved shiny hunting for so long I guess I’ve had a lot more time to learn them and exposer. Thanks for another one of these

Honestly, the Tentacruel question was the hardest one in Hard. The rest were pretty obvious changes, but Tentacruel was a minor shade swap for one part that I'm not sure I'd notice even if I knew it was swapped. I only missed that one and the Legendary Bird question.

Same here honestly, I picked Zapdos first but realized that Zapdos' shiny did look like that in the original sprites so.... I went with Articuno because Articuno is a light shade blue but somehow he looked purple on the video. Then it was Zapdos so that's fun.

I always have so much fun with these! Being the complete shiny nerd that I am I knew every single shiny. It was funny seeing Mimic and Tos trying to figure out which was the correct one lol

This is trippy since I remember most of these shinies from gen 4. In 3D they changed quite some colours.

These videos are always so great! Feels so weird to find the differences as a non - shiny hunter

I can’t believe me a person who’s never even finished a single Pokémon game and only played 1 got the tentacle guy one I got it cuz when he said he loves the shinys of that one I knew that he then wouldn’t just put it as a Normal and i was able to get the 50/50 lol

I got 9 right and the bonus as well. I fell for the Tentacool/Tentacruel trick too TvT These quizes are always so fun to do btw!

i love doing these quizzes along with seeing tos and mimik's reactions to your tricks, got 10/11 and was only tripped up by venomoth for some reason!!

Gen 1 shinies have always been so great! And as a shiny hunter ( *and absolute nerd* ) i got all of them right! Though i ALMOST failed the Tentacruel answer, i just got it right because i thought the tentacles were a bit too bright 😅 ( man, i didn't remember the tentacles were actually that bright ) I absolutely love these shiny quizzes, Noki! I absolutely LOVE these quizzes. When Rapidash popped up for the Blue buddies, I immediately knew that it was the fake, because I used it on my Legends: Arceus team, and I remember that its flames were a pale purple, so the literal minute it was on screen I was like, "Its Rapidash". Please never stop making these quizzes, because I plan to use these for my friends and siblings, and I would LOVE to see how they do with Gens 2-8

I got 6 out 10 and surprisingly got the last master question, i am really proud of my self as i haven't even caught a shiny in my whole life

Just looked at all of those and this is the only one where I had every answer right 😆 Usually in the other ones I get everything right for easy and then it starts crumbling down

I think gen 1 is the only game I know most of the shinies for, and I did get all the questions right. Excited to do worse in the rest of them!

These quizzes are so fun. The only one that tripped me up was Tentacruel, but shot in the dark I got it right. Pretty confident about all the others. I spend all my free time shiny hunting so I know shinies pretty well lol

8:10 Kakuna kinda looks like it's wearing a tie and combined with that shade of blue makes me think of Phoenix Wright.

Question number 6 was SO hard, much much harder than all of the questions that came after imho. And I say that while I love the Tentacool and Tentacruel line, both the OG colors and the shinies, that I have hunted for. At first I thought something was off with one of them but I couldn't decide which... so I thought the answer was Bellsprout because of its mouth. I also got the legendaries (and Pidgey) wrong, but that one was still easier in comparison. Fitting difficulty for the last master question though! The Zapdos totally tricked me in blending so well with the others so I went with the idea that Moltres' beak and legs or talons were another shade of pink for some reason. 9 out of 11, for a generation that globally isn't my favorite, not too bad in the end!

I thought the trick on 9 was gonna be that he showed a picture of slowPOKE but called it slowBRO, but i think noki just messed up the names lol

These quizzes are great! Definitely did better on this gen 1 quiz than the others. Got 10/11. The Tentacruel was the only one that tripped me up. From doing Zapdos raids in PoGo I made a trick for telling shiny Zapdos apart. I literally never pay attention to the body. Only the beak and feet. Which ironically I would've figured it out quicker if I paid attention to the body this time, but the beak and feet weren't saturated enough either so I could still tell it was off. 🤣

ONLY Bellsprout tricked me... Im honestly shocked i got the rest right and at the same time Im asking myself: Why Tentacruel wasnt in master category?

Aced the quiz! Hardest one was the Tentacruel, and even then I got it in the end. I knew something looked off with those two, so I knew it had to be one of them, and after some serious thought I remembered Tentacruel wasn't leaning so much toward purple like Tentacool does.

First of all, y'all made me feel so much better about choosing metapod and second of all, I actually have a shiny venusaur

bro i deadass caught like 5 shiny Tentacruel and evolved them so when i saw this i was like "oh yeah these look good" and the betrayal i felt when you changed the tint hurt me so bad

10/10 + bonus. Honestly the only one I wasn't sure of was the fighting type one.

I absolutely love these quizzes. I would love for special guests but Tos and Mimik always need to come back to duke it out lol, I love their rivalry and reactions. Gen 1 is probably going to be the easiest quiz since it’s the most familiar gen 😅

10/11 The mimes got me. I couldn't remember for the life of me what he looked like. I knew that zapdos was wrong instantly because of the intense burning hatred for it deep within me. At least galarian made up for the failure.

Zapdos' shiny actually was orange in the gen 2 games! That's the only time I've ever had one. Technically that answer is correct and incorrect at the same time.

I love these quizzes you put together. Its a fun way to test my knowledge as a shiny hunter. I usually wind up with one or 2 wrong per quiz. The Mimes did not trick me because I've found so many in pokemon go, its embedded in my brain lol This one, i was only wrong on the tentacruel one on this one. Also was today years old when i learned Doduos neck color is gender dependent.

I was playing runescape whilst watching this, so the music kept spinning me out, thought my game sounds were messing up xD

Tentacruel was the only one I missed, for the simple fact that I had only seen it shiny a few times because I was never a fan of the pokemon itself lol.

My first shiny ever was Doduo. You cannot FOOL me with that.. SICKLY YELLOW DODUO.

I tied with Mimik, it's so funny tho cuz I made the exact same mistake as TOS on the dragonair one and I also picked kingler and then the tentacruel one also messed me up.

I like how the correct answer in the bonus is telegraphed a bit by being the only one that's a direct counterpart with another. Also 9/10 (+ Bonus)💪 Bellsprouts lips threw me off in Number 5 but I figured the deception in 10 was Zapdos already being close to the original
