More recent delays are due to Apple (surprise there 😂) dragging it's feet on security across the networks in someway. Also there's far more to consider I'd imagine when its open across all brands and devices, not just a single device with some subtle iterations

The Android "Save Parking" is a setting. I've noticed that many people mistakenly/unknowingly disable it when setting up the device or through a one-off action. I realized this because my phone asked me multiple times, which I declined. Then the day I needed it, it wasn't there. And after a few months I went through the settings and found it was disabled.

6:20 Its INCREDIBLY frustrating to constantly hear the lawsuit be taken out of context like this to make it seem like an overdramatic misstep. The reason why the EU opened up the app store was because of Apple actively participating in anti-competitive behavior, while neglecting to create any solution to tackle it (P.S. that DOES NOT equate to Apple being required to discontinue or make any of the technologies they've already created unavailable to their users). Why it would be the same case in regards to a niche feature, such as your phone being located with the help of your smart speaker, especially when there are already protocols and avenues available for third parties to implement that, but hardly any consumer demand at the moment, is beyond me.

The android network being able to find stuff will sort of.... invalidate airtags since the whole point is having as wide a net as possible to find your lost things and there are way more android phones than iPhones

This definitely wont invalidate airtags, they almost definitely won't be supported with the android network and probably will stay with apple's network. iPhones are also still very dominant (in america anyway) so Apple's network isn't going anywhere soon

How many people are comfortable with the fact that Joe blow across the street can tell where you are, or when your home, your entire schedule. All of your calender dates ect ect. Thanks to your phone. I mean anyone..it's easy with readily available tutorials online. Are people just unaware of these facts or do they not care? I mean you can unlock someone's car, their house blah blah..thanks to smart technology . I hope people are aware of how unsafe and invasive it is

No, because Samsung has had it for years as well, it's just vanilla Android only getting it now and even the last year's delay was caused by waiting for Apple to implement the counter-stalking measures. Buuut, if gloating is what floats your boat, just go ahead, we can endure some of it.
