My bank sent me an email. It said that I am being automatically enrolled in a new process they have named "e disbursements". Is this just a preparation for CBDC? I have direct deposit and that has worked just fine for many years. Why the need to changes things up at this ominous point in history? Thanks

Hi! I reached out to our Financial Aid Office and here's what they advised: "The student may want to reach out to their bank in regards to the email that was received. This would not be from financial aid. They also should check their "My Student Choice Refunds" on their portal to ensure that they have the correct bank information listed there. Also advise the student to not click on any links in the email from the bank just in case it was a phishing scam, if it is a legit email it would be saved in their secure messages on their account page for the bank that they work alongside." If you have additional questions, Blinn's Financial Aid Office can be reached via email at finaid@blinn.edu. Hope this helps!
