Finance Indaba CPD TV: Vusi Thembekwayo's essential 2017 keynote on change and transformation

What do we mean by transformation? This was investor Vusi Thembekwayo’s burning question at Finance Indaba Africa on 12 October 2017. The entrepreneur made it clear that transformation was not about ticking boxes and counting how many black people, black women and transgender individuals are employed in corporate South Africa but rather, about ensuring the oppressed are no longer oppressed and the poor no longer poor.

Vusi is the realest. He loves our country. . I wish I could get in touch with this man. Keep going and educate. The problem is. TIME. People behavior will not change by one video. There environment dont allow it. Their financial situation dont allow for them to understand the power of education. If they learn more they can earn more.

I have losten to many speakers ...from the global ground.. Vusi you are by far one of the best. When it comes to Africa trade and business ... In terms of understanding where we are stuck...it terms of how we are stuck ..and why we are stuck where we are...you are the best. No one could explain the message better... it takes a very well informed man to see the difference betwèen transformation and change. I The affirmative process of having 50 50 men to women ratio on politics.. in board rooms.. have black executives ..we have it in Tanzania. Here today..we are an independent nation ...but the rules of the game of politics here are not different from that of colonial. Divide and rule..the master knows it all..you cant confront the honorables...lest we understand the difference between transformation and change.. we are doomed. Le
