I’m currently looking at this box as a reward to my self at the end of the year. I’m working 7/7 split shifts at work and have saved more this past couple months than what I did during all of covid. Seeing it open and all those colors I think I’m really liking the idea of this treat.

But the wooden case feels more special and worth the little extra, after all I will probably have these pencils for the rest of my days XD as I’m not much of a pencil artist, but more watercolour oriented. But I do like the polychromos when I do use pencil :3

Congrats! The Polychromos pencils are still my all time favourite out of all the ones I've got and that includes other top brands like Caran D'Ache, Holbein and Derwent! Definitely the Colour Catalogue for me, it's what led me to discover your channel.

I have dipped my toes back into knitting. Have found my moms old cross stitching/embroidery and picked that up. Of course colored pencils, alcohol markers but also water coloring and stamping. Going to the dollar store and using your creative mind to see what you can make out of those things and make it look like boho chic decor has been really fun!

Wow, congratulations! I'm so happy to be a small part of this. I've watched your videos for a long time but just recently subscribed (don't know why it took so long). You deserve this and so much more! I would love to see something with a bunch of characters from all the coloring you've done in your videos, especially Toy Story. Either way, I know the artwork will be beautiful and I cannot wait to see it! Congrats again! Can't wait to see where the future takes you!

Congrats on over 100k!! I'm working really hard on beginning to use my first sets of professional grade materials. I have been making art since I could hold a crayon and I did art gcse and a-level over 10 years ago. I never had the funds to afford more than basic student grade materials whilst studying. Then when I got older, I never felt like I was good enough to invest in the higher grade materials but I have long outgrown student grade. I am terrible at hoarding and not using things, trying to keep them "special", I think many can relate.

i use baby oil all the time and it works perfectly. the trick is not to make it soaking wet. dip the brush in it and wipe the excess with a paper towel till its almost dry. then just rub it over the drawing. it will take a few strokes to blend, but you will have perfect control over blending without any stains bad odor or fumes.

AAHHHH! You finally got to open them! I remember when the first video came out for these bad boys! You work so hard for this! I am so glad you got to open them! A reward you earn ❤️

6:24 😦 woah! Those gradients are stunning! How the heck is that even possible! I love color designs like that and when I think of blending that’s what my mind thinks of. A beautiful blend of gorgeous saturated colors. I don’t have anywhere near a skill like that but I sure wish I did. The coloring I do would greatly pop in my mind if I could bring it to life like that.

Polychromos is my favourite pencils, i have the Luminance set and those Are amazing too, especially for blending. But i feel like polychromos is easier to draw minor details with and it doesnt Get «thick and smudgy» like the softer Luminance does. Ill probably always have Luminance and polychromos as my stash but Polychromos Are favourites ❤️

Congratulations! For the drawing, anything but you include all the different version of it as you always compare/test with every paper,erasers,sharpeners,etc. For example, you can add a lot of different sharpeners hidden all over the drawing for us to find.

@@Nishkween I've only just started and I'm picking and choosing carefully. I have 36 pencils at the moment. But I started with a 12 pencil set and recently added a 24 set. Then some other randoms. The 12 pencil set I have is not the normal one so only had a few double ups. I'm trying to be smart and add very multi use colours and I do a lot of blending down to the colours I really want. It's kinda fun.

my god what a steal I'm taking Art 1 at my high school (I think y'all call it secondary or grammar school?) & the teacher is supplying us with Prismacolor Premier, tho I'd heard of Polychromos via a really cool vid Faber Castell made. Just checked the website to compare prices & WOW! they're SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS SEVEN HUNDRED Why'd their price blow up so much?!!?!

Congrats! I always learn something new with each one of your videos. I think that one thing that you can use on your drawing would be colored pencils, doodles like the ones that you normally do, something gold.

My suggestion for the artwork is to make realistic colored pencils and rename them as your favorite KZreadrs favorite colors. Nerd E Orange, Chloe Pale Green, Jazza's Jazzy Red, Pamela's Pale Blue,Ferral Galaxy Black, and even your name and favorite color (I don't think you've ever mentioned your favorite) ... like that kinda👍❤👌 what ever you decide on I know it's going to be epic!

You have to make a Collab with a professional pencil crayon manufacturer and actually produce these. I would buy them in a heartbeat. Amazing, creative idea that reflects the channel so well. Love it.

My arms don’t get tired when using the quality pencils like these. Although my hand did need some recovery time from being hit by the box at the start! Ice required for that one!

One of the first videos I remembered seeing of yours Is when you colored bandit, bluey, and bingo from the creek episode. We love bluey in our home and I've been playing with the idea of doing my own artwork of something Bluey related, but I love how you are a mom and can do what you love.

I bought this last week. when I received, it was amazing. and I love it. After using so many different brands of colored pencils, Faber-Castell Polychromos is my favourite.

Edit: blending! Esp blending with the alcohol marker blender! That is one that that areas comes to mind when I think of this channel. Idk how to incorporate that but it's exactly what comes to mind. Also the Thomas Kinkade Disney coloring lol. That was fun haha Congrats Sarah! This is so well deserved. You guys clearly work very hard making and editing your videos. I've learned so much from your channel. I was heartbroken when I saw your "I failed" video, but it taught me a lot and I really commend how you were able to turn that into a learning experience and then into an accomplishment instead of focusing on the negative. I hugely respect that. I'm so happy for you! Also idk HOW you were able to hold off for so long. I VASTLY prefer oil dominant pencils, and Polychromos are my ABSOLUTE favorite pencil ever. If I could only ever use 1 pencil the rest of my life I'd gladly choose Polychromos. Obviously it is all subjective and some people prefer wax. But I love building thin layers. The finished look is unlike anything else. So happy for you that you finally get to celebrate with a beautiful gift!

yess i got this set recently and its easily my favourite art supply ive ever used

I wanted a set of 120 Polychromos since late 2021, probably when I saw one of your videos. A year ago, I happily got a 36 set with my flybuys points and this Christmas past, hubby gave me the 120 set. No wooden box here, but I wasn't after that. I really love the pencils and its only been a couple of weeks since Christmas and I have already increased my drawing skills by a lot. I have never used Prismacolors, so my real learning journey are with these pencils. I am not frustrated when I watch videos and people don't know how to use these pencils try and use them like Prisma's and "OMG drop the pencil now" is what my head is saying 😂 You actually say they aren't forgiving. Yet I have found these pencils are really easy to use. I can even easily erase something if I make a mistake or just want to add highlights. I know a lot of wax based pencils wont let you do that. I am also finding that I can do layer, after layer after layer, which is really awesome too. I am getting really beautiful blends and coverage.

I love my Polychromos pencils! My fav blending method is using an eraser… I lay a touch more down than I’d like to end up with, then use a white eraser gently over the top. Works beautifully.
