FINALLY Tune and Delete L5P Duramax At HOME!
In this video, we'll show you how to unlock your L5P Duramax ECM and tune it at home. No more sending off your ECM or purchasing unlocked ECM from HP tuners.
Once the ECM is unlocked on your L5P duramax, you can flash your custom tunes onto your truck. If you live in Canada, you can flash delete tunes, but this is banned in USA.

Wich way is the wire orientation on a 2018?for the fuse box. This fuse is front to rear .

@jwmontoya my 17 is shifting kind of strangely. I’m 100 percent new to diesels. I’ve had the truck a few weeks and no issues at all. Truck has 32k on it and it feels like the trans is shifting a little rough. It doesn’t feel like anything is completely wrong I’m just noticing 1st to second feels kind of off any idea what it could be? I’ve been told to check the trans oil level and fill if needed.

How about the tcm? Have they made anything for that yet instead of buying an unlocked and upgraded one you’d have to switch out.

At the moment you have to purchase an unlocked tcm
What’s it mean if tcm doesn’t read?
Anybody know how to check the injector balance rates for a 2017 L5P? It’s got a little louder tick after running for 25-60 miles. Not sure if it’s a injector going bad or the oil I’m using.

It’s had AC Delco, then I changed it to amsoil when I bought it. Thinking about hotshots secret. Just don’t know what filter to use. And a KZreadr said don’t keep changing oils stick with 1. Thanks for the reply JW your videos help out a lot !!!

Yes. Your unlocking the ecm to be tuneable wether you want to stay factory tune or pothole tune. Just have to write which one you want.

@@jgsvlogs8993 mine was the dummy plug at the fire wall driver side. I plugged the original stuff back in and it worked. but I have seen people have issues with stuff plugged into the obd2 port causing that issue. Also unplugging both batteries have helped.

Bc once the ECU is unlocked, you can flash whatever you want.
