As a 56 year old man I absolutely love seeing the younger generation doing things and making there on way. I've watched your channel for a while. I can honestly say young man im so glad I don't have the bank note that you have, it would be way to much stress for me today. I have the upmost respect for you and your crew. I'd like to also say thankyou for being part of the future young man. I wish there were alot more young people that had your mindset. Much love and respect from Georgia. God bless you and your family and your business 🙏

Should do a small example of each tint shade and brand on the exterior glass wall so customers can get a feel for how dark it’ll be on their car seeing outside

I'm assuming the smell is coming from the pit. You probably have to fill it uo with water to block out the stink. That's how it's designed. Kinda like a toilet or sink drain

  • @ajquick

Yeah it does look like the pit is supposed to have about a foot of water to block the smell (and trap heavy particulates).

yes ya gotta fill it up with water to cover those pipes at a minimum as you have nothing stopping sewer gas right now....

You are correct Nicholas! Those lines likely have a "P" trap in them that needs to have water kept in the trap to keep the sewer gases out. Just like your toilets and sinks in your house.

My only issue with the tint on the lobby windows is it makes it appear that you are not open for business. Potential customers like to see in as they drive by and notice that people are hard at work.

I felt a similar way, it also can give the impression that they're trying to hide stuff as far as the lobby goes. I get tinting the garage doors but I feel like you'd want to be known for clarity in your business, physically and figuratively. Can just make people feel uneasy, I know I would

Yup, when the doors are closed it's gonna look like the shop is closed, permanently. You'll get those "You never see anything going on around there"-rumors. The tint is also completely useless for theft prevention. As you can see, when there are lights on inside when its dark out, you can see right through it. Any serious thieves will scout ahead of time anyway, and an opportunistic crackhead will break in anyway, because they don't care and just want something. I get the idea, but it won't do anything. It's nice to block the sun though, especially if those doors face south or west.

Take the wand off the pressure washer and stuff the hose in the drain, pressure clean the drain. Could even buy a extra hose and put a cap on it and make a nozzle by drilling a single front hole and angle a couple small holes back wards help wash the pipe wall.

I only think that maybe it's too much dark... It's always nice to see inside before entering a room (psicology) and see people inside, i would have choose a lighter tint (from the inside it's ok, but when watched from the outside I can't see anyone inside) I speak about the lobby, the workshop area i think that darker it's better to not be able to see at a glance what is inside

If that smell persists talk to a local waste disposal company. I worked as a bus mechanic for a bit. Safety kleen would charge us 750 to 900 to truck vac all the lines and pump our 3 pits that were large enough to swallow forklifts in their 150k sqft shop. Im sure a local operation might be cheaper.

Just a FYI on the grease/sand trap. It won't stop stinking till you put enough water in it to seal off the sewer gas. Since there is no pee trap like a sink in a house the smell will just keep coming in until you add water.
