While the dev's arent fully to blame ubisoft definitely brought that on themselves they terribly advertised the game, and they pretty much hated the project for years...

And the producer using "AAAA game" excuse just wounded SnB as a game. I still view it as a AAA game, not AAAA. I'll blame Ubisoft for this and the stupid price they have. They need to lower it.

Yea it's funny how people are mad all because it's not another Assassin's Creed Black Flag game but idk, those people make me laugh because if Ubisoft just made a copy n' paste (like these people want with S&B's) THEN they'll complain that it's just a copy and paste of Assassin's Creed Black Flag.....I like ACBF, but not every pirate game that comes out NEEDS to be like ACBF. Personally, I love Skull and Bones, I got it for my birthday as a gift and I've been playing it since then. Sure just like a lot of games. There are problems, but people need to stop being annoying af already. If you hate S&B's fine, then don't play it or look up stuff related to it....yet these salty ACBF players are ALWAYS complaining in youtube comments saying stuff like "I'll play ACBF instead thank you" like ok? Good for you? Again, if you don't like something, then don't play it, watch it etc, YOU sitting there and doing the opposite and then complaining about it, it's just like shut the quack up already. I rather listen to a toilet backing up then listen to your ugly mug go and on about a game you hate, like it's your choice friend....no one is forcing you to play Skull and Bones.... :)

@lmaniac58 i think the biggest problem is that they had a solid base for what people wanted with Black Flag and they actually had promising showcases but the released game is pretty different to what was shown.

Love SoT,it’s a good game,yet it does have its problems,and I want both games to co-exist and be both pirate games anyone can play. And I am sick and tired of people keep commenting in SnB Twitter (not calling it X) the same tweet containing “attempt x I got this game and now I regret buying it,I want my money back”, “worst game ever,I want a refund.”, and “dead game,SoT is better.”, like PLEASE SHUT UP! There are people who genuinely like SnB and shitting on them for playing it isn’t going to “save” us from playing a “shitty ‘AAAA’ game”. Fix wind would help more deck guns and stop it crashing

Cranes. Given the have /ZERO functionality, why are those Fugly things there at all?

My thoughts on warehouse, have slots or tabs separate for ship stuff like a tab for Furniture/Weapons/Armor for the warehouse and have them not take up space. The "layout" can be just like the blacksmith menu and each icon will say how many owned like every other stuff that stacks. The warehouse will then be down to bout 120 ish with mats both raw and crafted helm and ammo Will make the farming and collecting everything easier and more enjoyable for everyone. I know they are doing something right now but this could be a long-term option.

I was hoping for like a open sea dark zone with large ships would be epic

For the helm wager, anyone fast traveling to it could take a damage or damage mitigation debuff for fast traveling. It would be temporary but it would make it harder for them for like 20 seconds or something. Would still be worth going but you might need to hang back a bit until the debuff is gone

Please dont give up. There is alot of potential. Yall should add more pirate gameplay to go along with ship gameplay. Such as fighting monsters or ai while looting an island

Personally I am happy with these upcoming changes and new additions to the game, sure the game has problems and there are bugs still but your going to find that with ANY game out there. I like the Skull and Bones we have now because as I said, we would of gotten a League of Legends Ocean version of Skull and Bones back in 2018, which mind you I like League Of Legends. But with a game like this, I want to explore the regions, sail the oceans, listen to sea shanties, not be in a box fighting a 5v5 with other players lol. I got this game on the 15th, 3 days before my birthday as a gift, literally all I have been playing since then is Skull and Bones, I've been having a blast with it and I do love this game, I want to see it improved and continued on because it has a lot of potential, frankly the dev's should just ignore the haters and 1%er's because who gives a dam, all they live for is complaining, they don't actually care about the game at all...they hate Skull and Bones and want to see it at the bottom of the ocean. :| I mean again, I don't mind PVP but I don't want it to be forced either. PVP & PVE is fine. Also it would be cool to see more new ships later on....ships like "Ship of the line" types such as HMS Victory or Ville de Paris was even maybe some more Galleons such as Neptune (Italy)! *(Not the actual ships of course but more their ship types like what we have in-game)* Now THAT would be cool to have or even fight against to be honest! :D

@@d3athwish Well if there was one other QoL I would add would be when your taking out/jettisons, or moving items that can stack. I wish you can move them either x1 - x10 -x100 to make it quicker and easier to move items such as ammo, food etc instead of 1 at a time. It does go quick already but I find in battles when I suddenly become heavy, I notice it takes a while to jettison stufff like ammo. We have the minimum or max option but I do wish you could just move x1 -x100 because I rather not jettison my 5,537 ammo, more just as a little QoL change.

Well the big question was finally answered. And it’s not good. We might be getting large ships next year, key word “might”. So it isn’t even guaranteed. There goes the biggest reason I’ve been grinding in this game, hoping large ships are around the corner, and they’re not.

I feel like the "meta" just moved with upgrades. At first, the brig was king, since s2 though, sambuk is everywhere. lol. as someone who loves the small ships I so wish they were a bit fast (without headwind ofc)

Lol long guns have been my main, so now I'll be dominating even more 😂

It weird me out large ships still arn't a thing. We do need a area for it. Prob held be a strong army. Where enemy ships only sail in convoys (3/5) Pull the difficuly way op in that area so that you ''almost'' need a second player with a large ship to make co-op shine more as well.

I really want to customize ship design. I'd settle for mere cosmetics! but real game play differences? that would be awesome.

The Jackdaw and the Morrigan are brigs there is a playable Brig in the game right now what you are talking about are probably bigger ships like Frigates and Galleons

​@@okage6219 As mentioned in the on-deck video, they have appeared on some merchant and privateer vessels, including a higher version of the Brigandine, which is considered to be in the frigate class, and a higher version of the Snow, which is considered to be in the galleon class. According to the Singapore team, the reason for not being able to implement them is that placing sailors on the ships would be too much of a burden due to the sheer number of them.

Crashes on PC too!! Particularly scrolling through items in any vendor, eventually just locks up solid and only way out is close game..

Buffing the damage of small ships is lazy and will divide the player base. Instead, developers should focus on changing how close medium ships can get to shores and how they navigate near land. Small ships should be able to utilize islands better. They NEED to stop ships from turning on the spot-this is ridiculous. Keep the shooting arcade-style if you must, but please improve the sailing physics. Make the wind more predictable and add more sail "levels." Upgrading existing mechanics like trimming, which takes time, would encourage players to plan their maneuvers ahead.

its not long nines its the fact that people are using dards on sides and shooting at sails and then they only need 2 shots from long nines to kill the mast the dards are the problam. Now if the person is using long nines on all sides he needs to hit 6 shots if other person has sails up its harder to hit and you can miss some of your shots P.S. dards do same dmg to sails like long guns so nerf dards dmg to sails

Yes very good . There was multiple man o war ships . They had high damage stats due to having multiple decks of weapons. However there was no ammo storage system like we have in skull and bones so I’m sure it would be a task to stay stocked with ammo if they did implement man o war ships. Never the less it would be nice to see some man o war class ships

Aim fix for rockets will be welcome - it's utter crap at the moment, it definitely does not lock on nearest ship in PC and a top view would be much better.

trying to make large ships work? it seems like that would be something that would be created even before the game came out.

Not to mention they said now it could affect ship upgrades, why didn't they dive deeper to try and release large ships first and then ship upgrades now they're gonna use that excuse for the long term saying they'll be to overpowered and more relevant and the small and medium ships will not get used anymore

i see it beet later ... but i wanted to say if someone can agree about to craft ammo for diferent cannons or balista or terpedo ... with diferent metals from the game like iron ingot or steel ingot .... and so one give way easy to craft ammo

Im unable to make anything ive purchased a blueprint for in the helm... literally ive purchased every single blueprint....the helm shows i own it ..but when trying to make ie. Furniture weapons etc it says i can't make it and i need the blueprint!!!!!!! Its frustrating, ive spent many pieces of eight to obtain these and now my whole game is kneecapped! They are trying to help us for instance when I manufacture a ship I can't make the proper weapons and armor to increase the ship it to a level 11 or 12 because all I am able to make are white weapons.. precious few blue weapons and no purple weapons.

Me and other death squad members are stilling having crashes on our Xboxes. i was at the end of a defense and the game crashed and my defense was unsuccessful. Didn’t see the link to bug reports in the description btw.

I didn’t hear in this video about the problem with the disappearance of ships in players’ inventories! or did I miss it? author, you don’t know what they are planning to do with this!? In short, there is a problem that when you buy 40 ships for the fleet and completely fill your inventory with ships while selling the old ones (those small ships), then the main ships that you have already upgraded disappear! it's horrible! how many resources are needed for them, what I understood is that they will return lost items to players that were installed on those ships that disappeared! but I don’t understand how they will solve this problem? because she still remains! and I don’t want to one day see that 13th level of the ship has disappeared! this is creepy!

Smaller ships should be for places where larger ships cna not go. LOOK at the DHOW that has places it can go that no medium ship can go.

Yeah small and medium ships can't go where the dhow can unfortunately but I still don't know how they will balance it 🙃

Of course they fixing, fixed too mutch, my Scarlock storyline bugged, i just can't take another quest, it says me "come back later", good fix))) anyway game is good i like it)))

As far as the xbox topic goes the whole major fix thing is wild I just bought the game and can barely play it unfortunately and I do enjoy the game more than I anticipated I’m also playing on a brand new Xbox series X this is the only game that crashes.

Did they really ask us to go to third party websites to get info instead of fixing the codex bug. 😂 I really had high hopes for season 2 but it's just disappointing to see how the basic QoL features aren't in the game. This feels like a new company/gaming studio released the game and is inexperienced in delivering. Edit: So they're already making excuses to not bring large ships. This just makes me look forward to nothing in the game!

I hope they will never come, you see already only 2 or 3 different player ships, all other are non existent anymore or do you use a Hulk to fight against LaPeste ? Large ships will be a night mare for balancing and will kill all small and medium ships.

For me. A very long time gamer, going back to the 90s before there were video cards, I don't see a whole lot of "fixing" that is needed. Just not that much that is outright "broken". Improvments? SUre.. Expansions HELL YES> Where the Hell is INDIA in all this, that needs to happen. One thing I'd like to see fixed is actuallu quite funny. Astronomy. You see south of the equator the sun passes over the ground along a NORTHERN ARC. Because th equator is to the NORTH of most of this map. But NOOOOooooo This indian ocean, from the angle of the sun in the SOUTHERN SKY is on the sam elatitude as NEW YORK CITY. This is hillarious especially since so many on the dev teams LIVE SOUTH OF THE EQUATOR. Funny really but broken? meh ...

Im not hating on the game in no way, I like playing it. I am actually frustrated that I cannot because of severe crashes on xbox, thst makes it impossible to play. Not inconvenient. Impossible. No furniture can be equpæed on ships, or unequipped, and if you try the game crashes hard. I have of course reported this, and Im not trying to be mean when I say i look forward to this problem propagates to a lot of xbox players. Because it will. I had several persons tell me that they have started experiencing it after they initially did not... so its not a problem on my end. When enough ppl cannot play the game they bought, hopefully it gets prioritized. Because thats my Hope. To get to play again. Not to hate or trash the game. Also its arrogant to stress some minor imporovments in other areal when gamebreaking failures are introduced w the same patch

Here is a thing about the REAL world. Fights to the DEATH often never get that far for either party. They often get and GOT to the point were neither ship was sunk or taken and everybody just had to limp home. This PvP Gamer fantasy of all PVP being TO THE DEATH is BS.

Personally I am really excited to play PvP it is my favourite thing in every game and I would like more ship diversity, this will be the way for this to happen and giving everyone a chance to make team synergy builds and creativity ✊🦜

Also for large ships having more gun ports could be balanced by having longer reload times than other ships. They would specialize in burst damage but couldn’t sustain it as long. Increasing reload times significantly on small ships would help balance them out too. From a RP perspective, think about the bigger the ship, the farther the crew has to carry fresh crates of ammo.

Jeez why do they make the warehouse so complicated. Just increase to idk 300-500 and then look after what u want to improve. Its not that hard. The only problem we have rn is NO SPACE. I know where my stuff is i just need to be able to store it Also i hope they dont pull that r6 bullshit with their "looking at data". If they do the game will be unplayable 2 years in Hiding armer shouldnt be hard, pubg does it with the helmets for a long time. Other can see yours but you don't

For large ships, they obviously need to be more powerful, but I think just giving them more (and easier to hit) weak spots could be enough of a balance. Skilled players would have a good chance of taking them down and people who just want to lazily lob fire bombards would get destroyed by the large ships

Larger shipsL Beware the Gamers TRAP. Gamers always seem to be jonesing fof BIGGER BIGGER BIGGER. But stick to your designs. This is the 17th century and 18th century. this is NOT the age of the HUGE sailing ships of the 19th century. Too Big and they will scream how out of place they are.

From the 17th century onwards, it was common for 3 mast ships, not sure where you're getting the idea of them only appearing in the 19th century.

Actually...they had HUGE ships in the 1700s. Slaver ships, mostly. And galleons, Ship-o-the-lines, Man-o-wars, etc. Dont know where you got ur info from. Oh, and they had 3 LARGE ships in the closed Beta for SnB

One of the largest warships built during the Age of Sail in the mid 1700s at 3500 tons with over 100 guns was HMS Victory. She was less than 200 feet long. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Victory You need to really look at "perspective" in-game. I drive a Snow. It's my fave. LOOK AT THE PEOPLE ON THE DECK. The Snow in Game is freaking HUGE. Look and the NPC's feet down there. That deck is nigh on to 300 feet long. and the MAST HEIGHT! my Gawd if that guy on the Mast head is 5 feet tall that Mast is nearly 500 FEET tall. an, where are the lower MAINSAILS? They aren't there. No idea why. Yes there were large ships in the 1700s and 1800s, but large only when compared to little tiny things with only 8 guns (four to each side). Slavers? No. Slavers were usually small and fast, like real Pirate Ships. Black Beard had the biggest pirate ship known, The Queen Anne's Revenge. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_Anne%27s_Revenge And before she was a Pirate Ship she served as a French Naval Frigate AND as a Slaver and she was only about 100' long. Quite a bit smaller than the any of the "Medium:" ships in game. Huge, well ... 200 feet was HUGE in the 1700s, These days you wouldn't even dream of assigning such a tiny craft to Task Force Duty. Even the USS Constitution of the 1800s, one of the largest Frigates ever built, near to 1600 tons, was only 174 feet long at the water line, which is the usual measurement.

At the end of the day this is a game with a lot of fantasy aspects, so I am not bothered on how they make the ships in terms of size we are about to get a dragon. As long as they balance the game that is all I ask for.
