Lions are born fighters, tigers are great hunters……I love both animals but I think Lions are very battle proven and never back down!

This is not a debate. They were fought against one another historically, in Rome, India, etc. Tigers were documented to always win. Tigers are lager, heavier, faster, have bigger teeth, claws, and stronger bite. They have longer limbs, are more athletic, and better fighters. There are dozens of videos of brief fights between them on KZread alone. Tigers always win.

How are they faster a tigers runs 40 mph and a lion runs 50 mph. If tigers always won ancient then why were lion's depicted as king of the jungle and no a tiger dosen't always win

Lions generally take on much more aggressive animals like Cape buffalo zebras and not to mention they regularly fight other lions for dominance, so I'd say lions are much more battle hardened

Lion, has been known and given the title as King of the jungle. But on the other, tiger is a low profile big cat that bare no title. I say,the tiger is the Lord of the forests. Now to see who is the sole and true King, of the two species. In order to find out which will be crown as,King, put the biggest of the two in the cage,we’ll get the true results. By then, there’s no more debate about them

Yeah, there's definitely a lot of variables and scenarios to consider, I can't be dogmatic about either side, but they're both beautiful powerful animals for sure.

You will find the bite force comparable at around 1000 PSI, historically pitted together Tigers won most of the time but not all of the time. Tigers being solo have to be more strategic in a hunting perspective because the game they hunt solo is larger, however most of their attempts fail. Tigers are more muscular and in a fight are able to stand on the rear legs much longer than a lion but the lion has the edge on stamina. Tigers will avoid fights if possible but lions are more likely to brawl because of their social structure. Male Lions compete for dominance. A Tiger is more ferocious and hunts like an assassin but both of these big cats are magnificent in their own right with their individual characteristics.

Lions fight with other Lions all the time , so experience in fighting BIG CATS , goes to the Lion. At the end of the day it depends on the age and health of the individual . As well as how hungry vs, strong they are on any given day . How much they had to drink and or if they are hungover .

Sick of all these videos saying lions bite force is only 650 psi.. That study was done on a sub-adult Lion a fully grown male Lion bite force is 1000 psi…. I love tigers but I’ll put my money on the African Male Lion every time in fight one on one…. Lions fight like dogs to the death and tigers fight like big house cats… In zoos around the world Lions always eat meat first which shows you the dominant cat… There’s No Debate…. The Lion Is The King Of Beasts… The Bible never mentioned the Tiger…

As soon as i saw: 'the Siberian tiger is the largest weighing over 600 pounds and up to 12ft...', i knew you definitely didn't do proper research, just the basic search on google. Nice video, but if you wanna get the correct research, check animal forums like wildfacts, carnivora, tapatalk, scribd, etc, you'll see youve been quite wrong. Lions also don't have 600 psi bite force, if you need any type of proof, I'm available to help. Lions also have 1000 psi biteforce, and in some cases, stronger bite forces (especially at the carnassials).

First of all, thank you for watching the video and thank you for commenting!! ♥️ Also, thank you for those sources, I'm definitely going to be paying attention to those. In regards to the accuracy of the stats mentioned in the video, I had some thoughts. I re-reviwed Google search (just a cursory look as you mentioned ) and it still backs up the weight and height stats mentioned in the video. "Over 660 pounds and up to 12 ft". I see some sources saying exactly 660 but I see some sources saying above that, so I said "over". Sources I was talking about were (Denverzoo.org, national zoo.si.edu, Wikipedia). Same strategy I used for the length. Yes I do want to be correct. Again thank you for the passion on these animals, and thanks for the feedback. Next time I may say " some sources cite ....etc." 🦁

@@RelentlessAnimals You're welcome, I love animals, but I love the truth a little more. As can be inferred from the link you posted, it was a zoo that gave the weight range of up to or over 660lbs, and when comparing animals, we use their wild counterparts, not the captive ones. The weight issue came from Mazak and his team in the 70s-90s when they decided to make a study on big cats, Mazak took the weights of captive Siberian tigers and compared it against the weights of wild lions and Bengal tigers, and ofcourse, the wild ones didn't stand a chance. The zoo that gave him the weight range of their Siberian tigers had them at 180-306kg, and this was what created the false idea that wild Siberian tigers get to over 300kg. In 2005, a group of Russian scientists collaborated with other scientists and decided to weigh wild tigers, and the largest wild tiger they found was only 212kg, with an average of 176.4kg. Wikipedia has this info: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siberian_tiger Go to the characteristics section and look under body size, all I've said will make sense. I even have the document containing the weights of captive Siberian tigers, sent to Mazak by the zoo. I have a folder where I store images that serve as proof to all I say, if you'd like, we can exchange WhatsApp numbers and I'll share the proof you need. I hope you understand how the common misconception on the Siberian tiger weight came about, and another thing is that Mazak was trying then to proof that animals in colder regions will naturally be bigger according to Bergmann's rule that animals in colder regions will be bigger than animals in hotter region. Ironically, even Wikipedia made a mistake by stating that the weight of wild males ranged from 180-306kg, but thank God I have the proof against that. BBC as well doesn't recognise the Siberian tiger as the largest cat.
