What should I do to link Matlab and PBCGen2D. What does the PBCGen2DMain folder contain? what does the MATLAB folder contain? How to obtain the link "C:\MATLAB\PBCGen2DMai\PBCGen2D_WB? Be well.

    It is simple: just create the folders with the pathname you gave and then run the code inside it.

    Sir, kindly be of help. I got an error message of "Abaqus Error: Command line option "input" must have a value. Abaqus/Analysis exited with error(s)." when I run the .inp file through Matlab.

    Hi @Yusuf, you need to specify the right input file for the job after the job command. Here is what it should look like: !abaqus job=PutYoutInputFileNameHere_Updated -interactive. The PutYourInputFileNameHere should be the exact name of the file that you are running without the *.inp extension. Also make sure you are running the model in the exact sub-folder where the Updated input file is located. Just navigate into it and then run the above ABAQUS command. The sub-folder is a folder beginning with JOBS_, not the same folder where PBCGen2D executable is. Hope these help?

    Hello @Johnson, not really. This is not PBC for 3D. It is simply a 2D RVE study but using PBC for the 2D domain.

    Hello Subrat, thanks for the comment. I do not have any experience with Udemy, but I know about it. I am more inclined to Skillshare or just an online course platform instead of Udemy but thanks for the suggestion.     @@MichaelOkereke Udemy is one of the most loved online course platform amongst professionals. But there is not a single course in FEA or abaqus which meets some good standard. Your basics and videos are very very highly qualitative. But without basic prior knowledge of FEA, simulations and scripting it will not be possible to follow your videos completely. so please make a systematic paid course on any platform you like.it will help us a lot

    Hello, yes indeed, you can put the fibre inside the matrix normally without using Python scripting as I did in this video. I have a few videos on this channel, especially on RVE Modelling of UD Composites video where I did it the manual way. Python however automates it and makes for true randomness, hence my preference for it.
