Lots of good info. I'm buying a holley terminator x next month for my turbo foxbody and this helped out alot. I'm super green at tuning and been watching a ton of videos to try and understand it.. I would also like to say, that this type of attention to detail is what Matt does with all of his customers. I had this same conversation and thorough detail of every setting when Matt was tuning my car. This is not just something special he did for Brew2l and a video, this is the kind of great service you will get from Matt and the guys at Leech Motorsports.

Appreciate you taking us along for the ride. As I'm digging into this some of what he's talking about will become clearer, but it's good to see someone explain their thought process. Oh, and big thing for me, I'm glad to hear him admit that he was off in the IAC tables before and is willing to correct himself. We all learn as we go. Looking forward to part 2!

Great video as always. I have already started implementing some of these program updates. Big thanks to everyone involved. A lot of misconceptions about this system being easy to run out of the box. It takes time and effort. Sometimes you just need good advice. Waiting for part 2.

Putting the term x on my gen 1 lightning this spring. I’ve been going back and forth on having a local shop tune it or a remote tuner do it. I think I have my answer. I highly doubt the local shop puts in this sort of time and has this level of true understanding. Awesome video!

We do have some seat time getting acquainted with HP Tuners and self tuning Leech 2 stick shift Roush blower Coyote but still getting comfortable with it.

Awesome video, I still have my terminator x still in the box. I've talked with Matt and he is a great guy very knowledgeable and he seam excited to work with mine with the 11r 190 heads.

Question brother about to install the term X and going to add a turbo system, should I install the turbo at the same time or install the term X first and run it NA first before the turbo install?

Hey BREW2L. I see that Matt has closed shop on facebook. I was wondering how someone might get ahold of him and purchase the scaling tool he set up. I just bought a terminator x and his scaling tool would save me tons of time!! Long time watcher of the channel. Keep up the great content and enjoy that family of yours!

Good video questiom. On setting up the tps sensor do you meam setting it at .97v with volt meter or setting it up with tps reset on holley?

Have a question about the start up tune out of the box. Got about 250 miles on vehicle. Holley terminator x max. 5.3. Stage 2 mild came. Built 4l60e Symptoms Dead spots throughout throttle Shift points seem to be off Temp seems to get a little high in the summer when idling with ac on Afr gets up to around 14.9 when trans shifts and drops back down around 14 2 when cruising Those are just a few things i noticed

Good morning, I have the terminator x max. I Installed, first run was good. Now I'm having a no power to the drivers side injection harness, however passenger side is firing. Trying to get a solution.

For my LS3 with the Dominator efi, what do i select in the injector strategy? "Untimed-sequential, bank to bank, or paired?"

Hey there i know this might be a silly question but, Is there a link to video 2? i can't seem to locate it and KZread hasn't brought it up in regular video recommendations...

Fans waste outputs on Terminator. And the IAC uses one up, too. I’d save them for Mac valve(s) for boost control. Startup is hard on fan motors. It doesn’t do any good to have them starting & stopping. Just run them off a switch or switch panel & leave them on. You can’t over cool.

I was told both close loop and learn both are adding fuel, so if close loop is adding 20 percent learn adds 20 percent on top of that so I was told to turn learn off

one thing to note here is if you use this IAC idle theory the ECU will continuously pull timing at idle via idle spark trying to lower it to the target idle. you should really lower the D Term much lower to prevent it from pulling to much.

Funny, I am installing a Terminator X right now so this is very helpful, but I couldn't justify the Holley $155 dollar each oil & fuel psi sensors either. Bought the Autex sensors too. We will see how they work.

hey quick question , how did those Autex sensors work for you ? im in the process of installing the terminator x as well and cant justify buying the holley fuel/oil pressure transducer sensors either....

@@tinosantiago1790 So far so good. The quality seemed to be pretty good. Once you enter the specs into the Holley Terminator X they work good. I recommend trying them out to save a few bucks.

Pulling timing makes the car run hotter, not sure this will help.

I forsee me watching this video a dozen times. I'm going to put Terminator X on my turbo car in the next few weeks.

Can I use the hand held to get a good start for everything. I even using nitrous can I set my parameters with the Terminator ecu
