Finally Riding After 7 HOURS of Breakdowns | Tiana's Bayou Adventure Review & Virtual Queue Thoughts
Walt Disney World's Splash Mountain re-theme - now called Tiana's Bayou Adventure - opened for Annual Passholder Previews on June 13th, and we were able to get park reservations and a virtual queue for that day! What started out as an excited morning to ride Disney's newest ride for the first time turned into a day of attraction breakdowns and multiple delays. We ended up getting a virtual queue callback 7 hours later from when we were supposed to have been called back, and we share our experience and thoughts with all of you so you can prepare and know what to expect if you're going to any of the preview days or the opening time period for the ride beginning June 28th.
It was an interesting day and we discuss some of our thoughts on Disney's virtual queue and other programs/offerings that have recently changed, as well as our personal thoughts on the new Princess and the Frog ride and ride footage. As always, there's a lot of fun and laughter, so come join us as we splash down at the Bayou for a musical celebration!
(Spoilers ahead for the new ride - Disney already released footage of the entire ride over a week ago, but we wanted to give you a heads up that there will be ride footage in this video - the entire ride pov begins around 23:00 and ends at 36:15. We do discuss some of the ride afterwards that does include some spoilers for the storyline, but we don't go into great detail for most of it.)

It was! We did have fun on the ride though, so we are really glad we finally got to ride too! 😄💦
New to your channel and new subscriber. Splash will always hold a special place in my heart. Have not been to the parks since 2009. (Long story) Not a big fan of the screens either. I like animatronics better. Maybe later on they will add more animatronics to fill the dead space. Everything else looked great. In the vlog the music came through loud and clear. I am so glad that yall got to ride even after all of the delays and breakdowns.

We’d also love to see them add some more animatronics in the future - that would be a nice addition to fill in some of those areas where the boats tend to stop and wait for a while. Overall it’s a pretty fun ride though, so we are glad to have another good attraction added back to this area of the park!
