Finally Removing that UGLY Kitchen Fluorescent Lighting! Swapping LED Recessed Lighting In!
Picked these wafer style LED recessed lights up from Amazon quite awhile ago, installed a ton in the living room, bathroom, and finally now our kitchen.
12 Pack, 6" 5000k:

I was really worried about the lights being uneven, but they're so slim, and hardly noticeable, you really don't even pay attention. Even when they're on, you don't really focus on it.

I been trying to figure out how to frame the box in my kitchen and you the only video that I found so thanks for uploading it . Great job 👏 😊
Always good to be a handyman when owning a home. Saves a ton of money. Good job!
Was a pleasure to watch your process .
Brian it looks great , good job !
Well done Brian, you can do any kind of work i’m sure Shelby will be very pleased x
Exactly what i was looking for thank you
I have seen the type of light covers that looks similar to that but the cover hangs down from the frame part instead of taking the cover off like what you did.
Wow you really do excellent work! It’s good that you don’t have to hire someone to do your projects. Great Jon Brian
I am going to do the same thing...thx for the video!
Very useful since this is exactly our project. Other videos showed how to frame out the box but not how to patch it so it is just like the rest of your ceiling. I wish we could have the courage (and time) to tackle it ourselves but we are hiring a pro and it's $300 for the two LED light install. Yeah, it kills me bc I think I could do it myself. I couldn't tell when you fished the wire where it's connected to the power source since you closed up the one for the flourescent light. Be helpful to see that. I am going to try it in the hallway which is just replacing two boob lights with LED wafers. Glad you set up your tripod - a little scarey watching you manage the ladder with the camera in your hand and working on the ceiling with the other.
i love your videos
Brilliant job as always. I bet Shelby was over the moon with it! As would I.
I like this one, do you have one where you show what you did with the junction Boxs. Maybe talk while you show what you are doing. Thank you for this one, I really needed to see this, good job
Nice job. Only feedback I would add is to show the final work on the drywall and a better shot of your final work. :-) other than that it was awesome and I appreciate it.
hello. so you tied all four to one wire?
I like the action vlog best.
Hi Brian ….nice job.👍🏽 i was wondering would you ever let your hair grow back again? never saw you like that in your vids. i’m curious how you look with hair. You and Shelby have a great weekend 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐

Funny you mention it, I've actually been thinking about it recently. I just keep trimming it because it would look pretty rough for a couple months where its still too short to really trim/style it, but not long enough to look clean if that makes any sense
