FINALLY PUT UP A PRIVACY FENCE [PHASE 1]| PORT SAINT LUCIE 🌞FLORIDA
We have been debating whether or not we should put up a fence since we first bought our home. There have been several companies that have came out to estimate the cost based on the area of coverage. Although our neighborhood is quiet and so-far drama free, privacy is still important when owning a home. In this video I go into detail about the installer and why this is the first phase of the install.

....🥳you will be much more at ease with the privacy fence.
Another great video C! Fellow Washingtonian but temporarily in central FL for about a year. Also thinking of putting up a fence on FL property but it's pricey. Curious to get your thoughts on South vs Central FL comparison and FL vs WA. The state differences are very noticeable, I thought it was just me but seems like other West Coast transplants notice it too.

First of all welcome my fellow Washingtonian! Wow, after living in South Florida for five years I can say that it ain't for everybody! Especially if you are coming from the west coast. South Florida is abnormal to say the least. I'm not sure about central Florida, but it can't be as bad as South Florida. Don't get me wrong, I like Florida for what it has to offer in terms of entertainment, multicultural food, and beaches, but the people and their behaviors will drive the average person away. I 'm glad that I made the move to Port Saint Lucie because it makes a huge difference living away from the bigger cities. However the West Coast will always be my first choice. Thanks
Hi.been in PSL 30 Years moved up from Plantation. If you put up a backyard shed.make sure you know where to put it.I put mine by the back fence. City made me move 2 of them plus permits. Your doing a good job I enjoy your videos.

I haven't , but will check em out. Thanks!
Fence looks nice. Areca palm at your next door neighbor looks great. That is really the best privacy screen for your area. Natural green vegetation. Yeah, if you're looking for peace, quiet and privacy, South Florida is the wrong place to be lol!

Peace and quiet in Florida, yea tell me about it! Thanks
Like the wood look , will you paint it or leave it natural ?

I may paint it later on down the line, haven't decided yet.
Looking good, man, but w those type of lots, there is no such thing as privacy. Nosy neighbors will still peek a boo 😂. Check your local codes before putting up an 8ft fence . Some municipalities won't allow it. Wood fence looks nice but will deteriorate fast and require a lot maintenance. Spend the extra and go w PVC. Especially if your staying for awhile.

Oh yeah 8ft is the tallest you can go in Port Saint Lucie.
Some advice for your new fence since I had to install some myself. Paint your wood with a water sealer. They have transparent or other wood tints. Your wood fence will last at least 5 years longer and the color will last. Otherwise in a year the wood will turn gray. Another advice if you want privacy buy clusia plants or red tipped coco plums. They grow well, can be tall and very dense.

Price range $3700.
I like the fence, thank you for sharing. When you install the back fence, what happens to the gap in between? Do you or your neighbor maintain the weeds? I’m saving for a house, and I wondered about fencing. The home is looking good! 👍🏾

Actually no one will maintain the weeds because it will be between 2 fences. If you are looking to buy a house and put up a fence my advice would be to shop around first because fences are not cheap. Good luck!
