Finally planting up the plot.
Ойын-сауық
An extremely busy weekend of planting out, potting up and sowing seeds.
I’ve managed to get a great start by getting all the seed onions planted out, my second early potatoes and partially filling the brassica cage.

New subscriber here. I really like your videos. You have a succinct explanatory style and cover a lot of garden tasks in a relatively short video which I like. May the weather be kind to us all.

Thank you very much. I try to explain what I’m doing and why to hopefully help others. As I only have weekends to get all my gardening jobs done I have to cover a lot of tasks. It takes organisation and a little hard work but it’s certainly doable.
Crazy how quickly watering becomes the chores of the day but it’s a must. Oh my god I have mares tail coming up everywhere 😡😡, the farmer next door took out a pile of his birch trees near the fence and the weeds are dancing in excitement seeing sun for the first time. Brassicas look great 💪 hopefully they do well. Have an amazing week Adam, Ali 🌧️🌤️🇨🇦

I need to get my auto watering system up and running once the tomatoes go into the ground. Won’t be long now 😁.

I’ve spent at least 12 hours on the allotment over the weekend. It’s amazing that so much work goes into a short video. I’m totally worn out now, just lying on the sofa with my feet up. I hope all the effort pays off with another great year of harvests.

When I plant out my next potatoes I might do a little experiment by doing half with and half without the fertiliser. If I weigh the harvest after it should let me know if it makes any difference.
Hi Adam great amount of brassica you got in there and onoins which look handsome, Its nice to have somewhere to carry on gardening when its bit wet and miserable outside .

An indoors growing space is such an amazing thing to have. Without it I wouldn’t be able to do nearly as much as I currently can. I over planted brassicas as I lost a lot last year so don’t want to be caught out again
Hi Adam, I was over the moon when I saw your tape measure and straight edge….. YES not just me 😂😂😂

I’m not taking any chances with wonky lines. I don’t want the old boys talking about me.
Hi Adam you probably won't get clubroot anymore if you are no dig, healthier soil. The lime might help increase the ph which Brassicas like, i didn't but I might try some to see.👍👌💪🙏
Hi Adam. 48 Brassicas! I bet having a cage saves hooping and netting. I have another wave of that to come and my back wont thank me for it either. Oh well, no pain no gain laugh. Sometimes I find that going back to work gives you a rest laugh. Very tidy membrane folding there 😁👍 I bet you were happy that at least you have half of your cage done. It's liberating. I see your weather there is a bit all over the place, but you have got the heat and light so everything will go whoosh lol. Great update. Elaine 🌱 🌱

The weather is looking good for the weekend so I’m planning on getting some tomatoes in the greenhouse and the rest of the potatoes in. It’s all go at the minute.

I planted some squash and sweetcorn. I might put it in my next video. I left it out as the video was getting long. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment 👍🏻
