No matter what age you are you can get back in it the place I go to has senior Mondays and the oldest lady I seen there was 89 years old still skating.

When I first starting roller skating it was so hard for me to stop because I’ve only ever used roller blades my whole life and I honestly didn’t know how to stop with those either but stopping is so easy now on skates because I practiced a lot ❤❤ I hope you get better at it loll

I learned how to skate at the age of 39. 6 months in and now it is time to learn how to skate backwards.

“Don’t worry about being cute” needs to be shouted for the gods to hear! I literally look like a hyena grinning while a skate. I didn’t care what I looked like at all so long as I get to learn as I go.

Try double checking that you’re looking forward, Squatting lower and pushing your feet into the floor. It’s the side to side shift that gives you the momentum! 🫶🏾
