Today my company solicitor submitted visa application I can get biometric appointment on after 3 days and after biometric I they will apply standard visa how many days it will take to get visa after biometric?

I m living in Sunderland near to Newcastle mate.

I reckon you could’ve used the UK Immigration app, would’ve saved a lot of time. That’s what I did, super convenient, got a decision in less than 5 days on a standard application. Anyway, good luck mate.

You’ll get email irrespective of the visa decision. The generic email will look like “A decision has been made”. I’d suggest you to wait for some time considering the decision times with visas in UK

@@nature1164 age literally makes no difference in the UK, infact I'm pretty sure it is illegal to discriminate based on someone age and you are definitely not expected to put your age or birthdate on your CV. And 25 is young I know people who get graduate level jobs at 33 as they decided to go to university later in life.

@@nature1164 your age will no effect anything. What could affect your chances is your experience for example in order for someone to offer you sponsorship for a job you would have to be better than the other applicants who do not need sponsorship and without experience it may be hard for you to show you are better and get the job offer. This is why the 2year post study work visa exists as it allows people to gain some experience first so that they have more chance getting sponsorship. Of course in some industries there are big shortages so even with no experience it will be fine. What is important is you get the job. To get the job you need to be better than the other candidates applying for the job. The reason experience is important is because in general if someone is already experienced their CV will make them look more capable of completing the job so they will be more likely to get an interview and in the interview they will most likely (but not always) perform better as they will understand the questions. But of course if someone is much better in the interviews but doesn't have experience they will still be hired. No one will hire someone who they believe will be more successful at the job just because someone else has more experience on paper but performed worse in the interviews. I hope this made sense 😊

My suggestions choose based on the Modules you have in the Subject for example if you are good at programming then check for the more practical Modules like problem solving, and suppose if you Dont like math or some related fieldschoose theoritical Modules more. Its all your preference. And finally choose the college which is affordable to you and don't underestimate the living cost because not always you will be in part time jobs and remember the climatic condition everything is wont be easy and some times you will feel challenging. So prepare for whatever happens you need to accept move on. Its a big decision in Life all the best for your career.
