This made me shed a tear. There was a time my mother called me, saying how she can't be alone anymore. She was scared. (She had bad mental problems, and I was the one she would always call) well, I went to her house, afraid of what I would find, tired of always being the only help she had...there she was, laying in bed like a hospital patient. She had not slept, drank or eaten in days. Her fridge was pretty much empty. I was able to make her a toast with fried egg, and made her drink some water. She probably won't remember those times, but I do. I was so glad she ate the toast I had made, even tough she said she did not feel like it. After that, I told her she should atleart try sleeping, while I did some cleaning. To this day, almost everytime if either she, or my father calls me, I have this small fear that something has happened. But I have made a promise to myself, that if my mother ever needs it; I will be there, to make another egg and toasted bread. If that is what stops her from doing something horrible.

I got to my parents weekly for breakfast or lunch on the weekend, and I am currently taking my Mom camping as she's too fragile to do it herself.

As a daughter who ADORES her parents, I knew the end of this from the beginning...at least, for me. I got to my parents weekly for breakfast or lunch on the weekend, and I am currently taking my Mom camping as she's too fragile to do it herself. Mom's are so valuable and precious, and at 67, my Mom's advancing into old age is a sore spot for me. Treasuring that Mama while as have her is just plain smart. You're a wonderful daughter, and I respect what I see here. Blessings on you.

the bgm alone was already making me emotional but the ending is just so pure. i can’t help but burst into tears. my mom is in the hospital right now... and my greatest joys are just when we’re doing grocery together and when i make her coffee. the way my heart swells when i see her eyes smile whenever we do things together or when i serve her something. it’s most child-like the way her features softens. she’s so adorable. idk but just the genuine happiness i feel when i get to express my love for her... i don’t care how mundane these things are, i just want to be in her presence. i miss her so much. it’s so heartwarming to see you have a precious moment with your mom.

Now I am a refugee in foreign country, separated from my mother and live with a person who voluntarily gave me roof over head.
