Always a good time!

I’ve been staying at the hotel for over 20 years yes it was getting very outdated but always clean …. So pleased it finally got some TLC … the rooms are now 100% improved I stayed for 2 weeks in November and the room was perfect so relaxing and comfortable now ❤…. Just wish they had of improved the soundproofing while they had the chance ….. … my only niggle is parking 🅿️ has gone up too $20 isn’t bad when staying one night maybe but 2 weeks it soon mounts up 😮$280 on top of your stay when previous stays were $7 per night

Nice update! I really need to visit Knotts during Boysenberry time- I've only been there during "Scary Farm." Live in northern CA so don't get down too often. Looking forward to more "Cedar Fair" videos and hope you can travel again soon! 😀

For a second there, I thought that was theme park worker you were talking to, lol!

Yeah we usually stay at the Knotts Hotel for a few days during the Boysenberry Festival. The hotel was always ok, just dated and run down. We just stayed there for 3 days again a few weeks ago and they have improved it majorly...the rooms are so much nicer then they were. 30 Acres Kitchen also has some really good food as well if you stop there or stay at the hotel. Might stay for a few nights during Scary Farm and do 2 nights in a row. I usually ALWAYS get the Fast Lane or Fright Lane whatever they call it though...which I HIGHLY recommend if you want to skip the massive lines!

Of the dozen or so them park vlogers I follow you are the only one that consistently checks in with Knotts. With all the DRASTIC changes at Disneyland park its kinda lost its nostalgia for me. Over the years they've just gutted areas with so much history. Rose garden, Gazebo, the staircase in new orleans square. (excited for Tiana's though) Knotts has been very gradual and upgrading... not demo-ing. Knotts was my first Halloween event, first met Elvira, first panned for gold (still have it) first taste of Poison Berry juice (what I called it when I was 8) Thank you for your content!

I have honestly considered having my wedding at the Knotts hotel

We became passholders last November and go maybe once a month. It is fun to go but…… The most frustrating thing is the parking. I have been going to Knott’s since I was a kid in the 1960’s and the parking has never changed! Back then there was really just the Calico area and where Camp Snoopy is there were various kid rides (which were operated by another company, but in conjunction with Knott’s). The parking worked back then, but not now and it will get worse when Soak City opens. I don’t get why they haven’t built a parking structure, even if it was just 2 or 3 levels it would make all the difference. And if you just want to go to the Marketplace shops or Mrs. Knott’s for dinner that short-term lower cost (or validated) parking area maybe has 150 spaces and is always full - so you end up having to pay $30 just to go to that area. Ridiculous! Finally on very crowed days (like last Saturday when we went) you pretty much need to cough up $100 for their Fast Lane pass unless you want to wait a very long time to go on just about anything. In fact the last few times we have gone we never went on any ride because the waits were so long. Whereas at Disneyland (also passholders) even on the most crowed days we can usually get on Small World, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, etc. with fairly short (under 30 minute) waits. Disneyland also has far more repeatable rides than Knott’s.

I stayed there recently. It is definitely nicer inside with the refurb but I hate the outside colors. So dark

Canada’s Wonderland has a Snoopy roller coaster, Snoopy's Racing Railway. Adults have to ride it with a child to ride it. I wonder if Knotts will do the same thing.

I prefer Knotts over SFMM. Such a great park! I really need to go back one day

I stayed at the renovated hotel a few weeks ago and it was great. The remodel is really well done!

I been there a while back when the rooms were first fixed and man, what an upgrade. Now that its pretty much done, I need to come back and check out the other stuff...

Where the restrooms were by the new coaster it might be a mothers area like Disneyland has, become that was an area for nursing mothers and a diper changing location

It’s so weird that the steam locomotive is still in place when they said they’d be replacing it. Maybe they gave up on the electric locomotive idea.

@@251Trioxin I think you’re mistaking the 3’ gauge railroad in Ghost Town for the 2’ gauge one in Camp Snoopy. The park announced that the 2’ gauge train would be replaced by an electric version, but the steam locomotive is still on the storage track next to Zoom.

While it is true that the hotel has been beautifully renovated, don’t try to ask the front desk staff about crime and car break-ins. They weren’t too nice to me. I ended up canceling my reservation and leaving for another hotel. They don’t have visible security guards, and anyone can just walk in.

last time I went to knott's, they had the parachute drop and the soap box racers. so much has changed by what I'm seeing
