I purchased one of these about a month ago, immediately after seeing one in person - have already fired it up about a dozen times with the family and have to say that it is without a doubt THE best fire pit around. Growing up in a log house in the ID mountains we might go through two full cords a winter so no stranger to running fires and I've seen all sorts of pits/systems and there's just nothing like this. Solo stoves are a joke compared to this....like a lot of pits all their heat just radiates up in a vertical column so unless your right on top of it it's largely wasted. The fire stacker radiates laterally and 360 degrees so it keeps everyone toasty still sitting around it comfortably and nobody is jockeying for the warm spot. It runs so hot that its smokeless but you can regulate that with the lid which also allows you to run it in the rain with no problem (which we also did this past weekend when the tornados came through). Also fortunate enough to live in TN these days and have to mention that Mercy was kind enough to deliver the stacker himself...walking me though it, lighting a fire with me and hanging out a bit just to get acquainted. A solid piece of equipment (my grandkids are going to have this thing one day) from a solid guy.

Love this ! Great job on building a smokeless fireplace. There's nothing worse than having to constantly move around a fire because of the smoke and it's awesome that it doubles as a barbecue grill and convection oven to boot. Best of luck in getting these out to everyone who enjoys sitting around a fire and cooking over open flame.

Most definitely top quality. The last fire pit/ grill/ cooker that you'd ever have to buy. So versatile too.

I just purchased another big smoker about 5 months ago, I watched this video because this man was and actually seemed like a real gentleman. I am definitely getting one of these when the season changes again just based on the fact 1) He is not your typical salesman. 2) Was not pushy. 3) Explained everything there is to know about his product. I live in an apartment, so I can't have nice things like this for now, but man I'd love to buy this guy a case of beer and hear the stories he has to tell. I had a bunch of great uncles that were all Vietnam vets and he reminds me of them. Genius guys who talked slow, but thought fast. They could fix anything and break most things on a good night. Good dudes like this should be cherished. Also, Mercy is a fantastic name!

Nice design, unfortunately $4979 plus $1331 for the grill package is way out of our price range.

I thought it was really cool until you showed us the cooking options, now that is an exceptional piece of equipment. Very thoughtful without being overly complicated.

This looks awesome, I want one! Suggestion for the product: I currently use a SoloStove Bonfire and I have steel pipe construction to move it around, put grill above it and to hold a roof. If I were to buy your firepit, the first thing I'd do is to build it a roof - I live in the WA state and it rains quite a bit. It would be great if all the columns had an open top so other attachments can be connected - such as a roof :) Another thought to consider (and maybe you did) - put the fine mesh on the outside of the steel bars, add a few rings, so that the logs don't apply pressure to the mesh while loading The web site doesn't do this firepit justice - I can't see the wheels, there are no dimensions, it's not clear how the table top is attached/detached.

1. Thank you! 2. Order one! 3. The under-roof indoor/outdoor vented hood with flue pipe fireplace/fire pit with ceiling/roof penetration capability is already an accessory. I'm sorry, but we have been overwhelmed with orders, and the website upgrade is under construction. It will be listed soon. The leg pipes are already open on the top. They are close-tolerance laser cut, and the pieces fit together so closely that it's hard to see. They can be seen easily on the close-up of adding the cooking attachments at min. 11:08 in the video.... hmmm Did you watch the whole video? Ha, Ha busted! Well, who has time to watch the entire 20 minutes without going to sleep? I'm boring. I get it! 4. The screen is unaffected. 5. I agree. I could have done a better job on the website, but I'm working on it. They only let me stay on the computer here at the old folks' home till 8:00, and then it's lights out! 6. The wheels are the upper and lower safety rails. The unit turns on its side, and away you go! 7. 54 inches in diameter 8. I'll make a short video of the tabletop, but to answer your question of "How?" it takes less than a minute to convert to the tabletop, and the upper rail spring tension holds it in place. Wow, that was a lot to explain. Good thoughts. Thanks for your suggestions. Order now! Mercy

So just keep it high margin, low sales, and make a better product than they can offer at any price point. Thats your market.

This looks awesome! I may have to invest in one. $6300 is pretty high but when you look at the quality and realize it'll be the last fire pit you'll ever need it makes more sense. I went to the site and do have one question. What is the picnic table top and do you use it with a fire? Could you do a video on it?

Thank you for the great question. Any reduction in size and price also reduces safety, lifetime of service, stability, accessory options, efficiency, ease of finding firewood the right size, ease of loading it, and the volume and temperature of radiant heat produced. You need about a fifteen-foot diameter circle at a minimum. It's a priority heirloom piece that will entertain like nothing else ever built. It's like asking if a nine-foot Steinway concert grand piano can be made into a smaller and cheaper size. It can, but it will never sound as good. And a 9' Model D Steinway costs $200,000 compared to a $1,000 off-brand piano. And it can be said that they're both pianos. I'm not a $500 Solo or Breeo stove hater, and I'm not trying to put them out of business. It's not a great design, but for the money, it's ok. You get what you pay for. Flame Stackers and Steinways are not for everyone. However, I wish we could give them away to everybody. Mercy

How do you clear out the ash?

Looks like you would just use the long rod to place it in the opening of that ash plate and lift it up. The plate will automatically tilt to one side and the ashes will fall to the stainless ashcan underneath. Then you just slide that out and empty it.

3.25 seconds in to the video. It takes about five seconds to empty the ashes. You should do it after every burn! That's always quick and easy. But, if you let it build up from other fires it burns less efficient and becomes difficult to empty the ashes. Thank you for your question. Mercy
