K. Medina El Gamma had voting centers in Batangas, Philippines. Gwyneth and Junior New System are also from the Philippines. Voters from Gerphil's own country are already divided, and Khusugtun had a whole country to support them. I think that's the reason why she didn't win. I am actually surprised that Gao & Liu is not in the top 3. Maybe because of the internet cencorship in China?

Loved this opening performance by a pan Asian group of performers. As a 43 year old person of Asian/Filipino ancestry born and raised in the U.S. where it was rare to see Asians in the entertainment industry, it is very inspiring to see so much talent gathered together. I really hope AGT continues to grow and become a destination stage for all talent in the region. Thanks

urin nyam I wish they would get an album out (and if they already have one, I want to know how to buy it). I love all of their performances and I usually don't listen to that type of music. They also made me curious about Mongolia. So for that and everything else they did in Asia's Got Talent, I applaud them!

Can't help posting comments. That intro by The Talento, Junior New System and Gwyneth Dorado was a great way to start the performance. Kiddie power. El Gamma's Celebration of Asia was awesome. It was perfect. Gao and Liu moved gracefully. I loved it. When Khusugtun and Gerphil Flores blended even in a short span of time, God, it feels like it's heaven's touch. Goosies all over me. I'm now even imagining these two to blend their voices together. I think that will be like, the Earth's gonna be refreshed. Dance Thrilogy and Triqstar was a good pair too. With the judges and the hosts at the start of the performance, this number was EXCEPTIONAL. Replay button raped again and again.

Great opening production number. It's like Miss Universe in the 90's. It shows the diversity of Asian culture modern and old. Khusugtin showcased the Mongolian throat singing indicative of their culture and TriqStar presented with what is old ethinic dance with a touch of modern style - so original. Thailand's Talento is cute and cool; Singapore's young tap dancers captivated the audience with their vibrant smile and what can i say the finals is dominated by the Philippines with 4 out 9 in the finals and 2 in the top 3 with El Gamma Penumbra winning the grand prize. Congratulations Asia, it shows how diverse the continent is.

El Gamma deserves to be the grand champion! No doubt! Gerphil owned everyone's attention when she starts singing. Her perfect voice and that wings made her more beautiful and gorgeous! Am I the only appreciates Gao and Liu's performance? I am always move everytime they perform. There is something about them that make me feel touched.

The most collaborative finalists' performance on TV I've seen so far. Each act equally given exposure and category highlight. Kudos to Asia's Got Talent production team for putting this one together. You deserved recognition too!

This just shows how diverse the talents are, having to put this kind of prod is just amazing. Great Job!

eunji almadrigo since no one answered yet...notes on an octave are arranged as follows : CDEFGAB C...which is then another octave... So F is higher. It's the same note Minnie Riperton hits in her song Loving You.

Like I have said before on my Twitter feed: THIS is how you do an opening number. I'm thankful for this show because it has broadened by knowledge and appreciation of Asia. All of the acts were entertaining and amazing in their own rights. And together? They are EPIC! Asia is so diverse and has a lot to offer. This really makes me proud of my heritage as an Asian. Kudos to everyone who made this show possible! Asia's Got Talent surpassed everything I thought it would be! Can't wait for season 2!

i said its "like" Gereltsetseg Ganbold if u understand my concept view of the performance. i said its ''LIKE" not that i said it directly that they are SOLDIERS .. if u know Fushigi Yuugi , the 7 schichiseishi are chanting to call upon the priestess of suzaku.. thats my concept view.. yes i know that Mongolia was once become powerful because of Genghis Khan , then there is a wide spread of plague that spread all over and across asia..

The transition was smoothly executed! From shadow playing to powerful voices and wonderful steps of dancing! Even though their talent is different, they still connect with each other. I Like how Gerphil take her voice on top of the clouds (again! :D)! and El Gamma making a bunch of tourist attraction to every countries they represent. WODERFUL! LOVE IT! CONGRATULATIONS ALSO TO EL GAMMA! :D

Triqstar is so fierce and mysterious! :D My wishlist for next season: 1 - is middle east considered part of Asia in AGT? if so, more contestants from that region. 2 - for filipinos to put some filipino culture in their performances. i mean, junior new system waving the Philippine flag, yet choosing an American Superbowl theme? errr... 3 - where are the koreans at? 4 - new set of judges. i like the judges now, but it'd be interesting to see new faces in 2nd season; the orig judges can then come back in the following seasons (like what they do in The Voice).

sisigman The Middle East is part of Asia so I guess they should be included as well... and it will be interesting to see Arabs compete. But the voting system should be amended. For example Gao and Liu who earned 2 golden buzzers from the Judges found themselves in the bottom 3 in the finals. Obviously they did not get support from 2 Billion Chinese or maybe Chinese from mainland China are restricted from voting. The four judges are okay - perhaps they can add one or two or perhaps change Van Ness and put an Indian Superstar or a Japanese Superstar instead. Leah Salonga is a good alternative but she's too moody and sometimes overacting. ABS-CBN should revive Pilipinas Got Talent and have Vice Ganda sit as one of the judges alongside with intriguing queen of all media Kris Aquino (Kris should stay if ever - for rating purposes).

Rahd Salahuddin I have to disagree with you on the last part about Kris Aquino sitting as a judge in PGT. They'll revive PGT back (it was confirmed), but I don't want Kris to come back because she's not worthy of a judge to begin with (and for the sake of ratings? Hiring a judge who can' even appreciate any types of music and favoring someone as long as they're handsome? Worst. Tactic. Ever! They made the show cheap like garbage...no offense but it really is. I'd rather watch a talent show with less well-known people as judges but are truly professional and wise when judging, and yes it may result to low ratings, but at least it's worth it). And Vice Ganda as a judge? Hmm, he better do his job well if he's ever going to be a judge. They should pick someone who's open-minded, professional and wise enough to judge a talent show.

Everyone is showering kudos to the finalists. They had really done a great job there. But that synchronization of totally different talents is way beyond perfection! The director deserves all caps KUDOS for creating this epic opening number. *hands down to the whole team of AGT*

yeah our old folks were surprised and shocked too when they suddenly showed up unnoticed here in the Philippines back in the 40s. anyway i liked that part of the show too.

egzheart the camera focused on the audience and with the dance thrilogy then one of the triqstar's entrance while thrilogy exits then the camera turns around where the other dancers are on.

WOW!! what a magnificent, enchanting, mesmerizing, lovely and all the beautiful adjectives that can best define what the performance of Gerphil is. I apparently pushing button for couple of times just to replay her performance.. AN ANGEL HERE IN ASIA.. I am starting to listen more classical songs. Go lovely Gerphil.

Thank you AGT for this wonderful production number showcasing the talents of all finalists proving how exceptional and deserving everyone is to be on the finals. Gerphil & Junior New System are my faves, but I also love Khusugtun for how unique their music is. Gwen was also superb in this opening and Dance Thrilogy was beyond adorable. Triqstar and the newly engaged acro-ballet pair were breathtaking. Thumbs up to Talento as well. Great Job AGT-Asia, AXN and of course, Singapore :)

You know I know already that El Gamma will win this. Although I am a staunch fan of Gerphil from the beginning. Because they are consistent Gold Buzzer acts from audition to semis. And their fans have a rest from voting because they are consistent Golden Buzzer acts. And their rest from voting was poured heavily on the Grand Finals voting thats why they win

KRAKENN PRODUCTIONS i also knew el gamma penumbre will win just by looking at the most youtube hits from the last episode. even though i really wanted JNS to win. unfortunately, AGT fuck up the lighting to the point that the showcasing of the dance routine and choreopgraphy became unnoticeable. im really pissed about it. i think JNS should have won if not for the poor lighting production.

You guyz are amazing! you made our country so proud though i'm rooting for Junior New System but still Congratulations EL Gamma Penumbra for being the First Grand Champion of Asia's Got Talent!! whooooo sabi niyo nga nasa History na tau sa buong Asia dahil sa nakamit nyong tagumpay! Gerphil was like an angel down from the heaven.

People who say Gerphil sounds like any other soprano in Philippine Madrigal singers are idiots who know nothing abt classical music. While Gerphil is classically trained, she has a unique quality that sets her apart and that is her smooth transition of her head and mixed registers. She's quite brilliant in her phrasing and enunciation. She doesnt just sing. Every note and word for her tells a story and that's what grabs the listener. She reminds me of Bocelli. Like Gerphil, Bocelli is Not a strong opera singer but hands down a brilliant singer with his unique qualities. I'm not saying Gerphil is perfect. I actly hear flaws in this performance but to say she is a common soprano is the dumbest comment ever.

I got addicted watching this part of the show..a witty n smart combination of different talents, converged in one number...just luv it!!

Gerphil that's great perfomance very high your voice

How I wish in Asia's Got Talent Season 2, the winning system is not by voting or anything from the public. Judges are there not only to critique and give comments but to judge also. Leave it to them the whole decision, who's gonna win or not. Anyway, the four judges are so much credible to do the task, why then voting? In voting system, no matter how great is El Gamma and Gerphil as contenders as long as there are more voters for Khusugtun, the latter will still win though the performance is not that for winning. I am not discriminating Khusugtun's final performance but I infer Gerphil's performance is way so much better than that of Mongolian's. I am sorry, you make it to the top 2 because of the votes. You, Khusugtun members have very unique and undeniably great talents but I think Gerphil made it better. If I am given a single ticket to watch a concert or show between Khusugtun or Gerphil, who am I insane not choose and watch Gerphil? It would be an angelic show. I love them both, I just dont like the result. PS: just an inference. If you don't agree with it, I respect you.
