Final Vows
A beautiful ceremony of the final vows to the Missionaries of Charity founded by Saint Theresa of Calcutta.
Our very own Sister Maneesha Fernando was one of the sisters taking their final vows. She was a parishioner and a member of our Youth Group at St. Thomas More Parish in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada back in the late '90's and early 2000's.
Filmed on May 24, 2016 at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC.
The Torres Family of Toronto, who attended the ceremony in this video, wishes all a blessed day.

The song makes me cry -- " I will give thanks to Thee, O Lord among Thy people..".. Mother Teresa and the MOC lived up to these very words -- giving thanks and honor to Jesus by treating the people as if every one of them is Jesus Himself.

Christian's need someone to carry on Mother Theresa's work - a personality.
I wonder how many of these nuns will be nuns 25 years from now knowing the weaknesses of the Missionaries of Charity.

@Nathalia Maria Amen to that... It is easy to criticize anyone, especially someone who is no longer with us .... But what's really hard to do is what the MOC sisters are doing everyday. That is difficult DAILY service.
