Well, up to now Queen Kelly has had things her way in the first two sets. Defending champion Wei-Wei as she is referred to,just hasn’t been able to get her feet steady on the ground. But she could still pull it off. I noticed Jim has a different partner, Eric I think. He is making lots of wrong calls, but not so many as old George T. Jim does ok, I believe he would be better alone. But still not the kind of commentator I prefer. I know most of the people don’t really care about what I prefer, but I feel that a whole bunch do. I’ll just mention a few names of guys who do it right instead of saying how I like it. Earl Strickland ; Scott Frost; Jeremy Jones ; and Josh Roberts is on the right track. These guys cater to pool players. And I think the general public would prefer that type of commentary. It is more descriptive of what is really happening on the pool table. The public could get into the game and I’d bet a whole lot more people would want to get to a table and give it a try. Pool is a great game, can be played by nearly everyone, Is very mesmerizing. ( and addictive ) Grandma,Grandpa, Dads,Mom and kids, Every one gets a little thrill when they hit that first ball into the pocket. Then they want to do it again. Then they must learn how to draw the cue ball.etc,etc. They really do get the incentive to play when listening to a real pool commentator. One person alone telling the world how to play pool, how to make a ball DO THAT. !! Now to the Camera ! Same principle. Show us the shot. Show us the table. Hold it one position till it is done. After the break, hold it on the whole table so that we can do what the players are doing. Trying to figure out how to what needs to be done. Hold it still! NOW, the camera and The Commentary can work together to show us peoples what needs to be done and how to do that. Now you have a focused audience. They are learning, Involved, and they will want to do it. I hope I’m not just peeing in to the wind here. Let’s get it right. adios
