Much like Undertale itself, playing this song for the first time is an experience I wish I could forget and relieve all over again. There have been no shortage of homages and recreations of Undertale over the years, but few of them have ever managed to truly capture its sense of emotional whimsical charm quite like this, but Indie Cross certainly does. In particular at 1:17 as the tone of the song shifts, with the beautiful change of scenery to the Waterfalls, the camera zooming in closer to Sans and BF as they sing, and the Undertale theme playing in the background, it gave me a real sense of joy and nostalgia. Like a friend who I haven’t seen for years finally came back and they’re just as cool as I remembered, and we’re having a good ol’ time catching up with each other. It was from that point onward till’ the end of the song that I just had the biggest, goofiest smile in my face. I loved it, truly I did. Indie Cross was a fantastic experience all around, but out of its many highlights, this might just be my favorite. A great celebration to one of the most notable and influential indie games of the last decade, and one of my personal favorites of all time. To everyone at the Indie Cross team, thank you. Genuinely thank you for making this a reality.

@@yuneelyn Imean it would prob not sound as good if certain characters sang it, like hellclown tricky or possibly zardy, agoti may not sound that great eqither. A nd even if other characters would sound good, sans would objectively (and imo) sound the best as his vocals WERE made for this song, theres arent. I mean like can you really see somebody like Lord X sounding good in final stretch lol.

I'm here to point out all the letifmoffs I have seen. 0:00 background sounds alot like "Bonetrousle" sped up. 0:38 "Megalovania" 0:54 a different part of "Megalovania" 1:05 "The song that might play when you fight Sans" fitting because this song was meant to play in waterfall. 1:16 very faint resemblance of "It's raining somewhere else" 1:39 "Megalovania" 2:20 "Megalovania" 2:34 Sans vocals: "Bonetrousle Bf vocals "It's raining somewhere else" 2:44 Both vocals: "It's raining somewhere else"

Awesome as usual! It's obvious that you're going to be really skilled at Undertale themed music, and I think this is a really good example! I think the usage of both these vocals are the best of the sans songs, too - Sans' voice doesn't blur together or lose any punch cuz of it's low volume - Really good stuff!!

My favorite part of the song has to be 1:17. I love how the song shifts into a totally chill and mellow tone and make me feel like I beat sans on 1 hp.

Straight banger. I love the little Megalovania leitmotifs at 1:39 and how it breaks up, along with how you fit in the guitars throughout the entire song. Amazing job, Saru!

2:33 is my fav part, man, how could sans do this sound?

How is 2:12 so good?!?! You outdid yourself with this song, definitely my 2nd favorite song in entire mod. I love everything about it, especially the bit where they start glitching and the aforementioned 2:12. Best sans song in the whole mod, and maybe the best sans song of any fnf mod. So fucking good!

I really love the vibe of this song, it's like most of the song is continuous bursts of sort of chaotic, medium intensity The instrumental is amazing too

I love how 0:00 (the beggining) fades in and out and it sounds like Bonetrousle, 1:38 sounds like Megalovania but spammin' and 2:11 goes off

megalovania was always a dramatic battle between main characters, but I feel all four of the sans indie cross songs were able to capture a bit more of sans' humourous side in the composition

not sure if i’m the first to mention this, but the title of this song may be a reference to the Undertale PS4/XBOX achievements for reaching Hotland, also called ‘Final Stretch’, as well as ‘Final Stretch II’ and ‘III’ for reaching the different floors. could just be a coincidence tho

The sans week was the first one I completely completely. I did Cuphead first, but after the game closed on me after the tough as hell last song, I went to Sans, and noticed you could choose to attack or not, I obviously didn't, and got this bop as the last track! Great job as always!!

Sans is singing one last song as he saves BF's life! Ah, this is a good one.
