Thank you for your translation. Actually I do not understand French. As a medical doctor, only one word I heard from her was medicine. But I didn’t hear the word, medicine from the interpreter and I thought something went wrong by this interpreter. Anyway, her answer was the best and she deserved it. Congrats, Iris.

The "interpretiaton" of France's answer has almost NOTHING to do with what she really said. The so-called interpreter missed absolutely all the essential points she made. She talked about her exams in Med School which she thought that she had failed at first during her first year of studies as a medical student etc etc. This is OUTRAGEOUS! Imagine if Iris had lost the crown because some ignorant, incompetent, fake "interpreter" had not done their job properly. The so-called interpreter has a below-average understanding of French, I can't believe he got that job! This is a SCANDAL!!!

Being a Miss Universe doesnt mean u dont have to use an interpreter, or to be good at speaking english, its abt how well u can express your answer confidently and powerful, and how u present yourself in public and influence ppl. Everytime a Miss Universe wins, I dont judge them because they didnt use english in their answer. They are very confident, it is sometimes the interpreters fault because the interpreter did not translate it right or get the contestant's point. LOVE FOR ALL THESE BEAUTIFUL WOMEN. XOXO

Just by looking at Miss France her Aura and face looked so welcoming and very easy to be friends with. Her kindness and intentions and written all over her face, I get why she's miss universe 2016. Now I get how miss U org chooses the queens, not only through the content of their answers but as well as the sincerity the audience feels and the magic that's written all over their faces as if they are telling about a story and wants to rewrite the ending not to be in the lane of tragic but into a better and progressive one. Reference is: Miss U, 2015,2016,2017,2019 and 2019; as you can see all of these candidates shares the same aura if you were able to notice it.

I'm late but I only realized now how beautiful France is. I love her answer! I don't even think it's an answer because it feels like she's telling her story and life experience. I remember watching this in 2016 and immediately turned-off my tv because I was upset Philippines never made it to the final 3. I just love France now!

@@absisfabs873 yes, when I was in Senior High School, I preferred French over Spanish, however when I worked in Cruise Ship, I had many Latinos friends and they taught me Spanish, and I found that knowing Spanish is much more beneficial in Cruise Ship since it's the second language in that industry. I now love traveling to Spanish speaking countries and it gives me a great chance to be promoted for higher position in my company.

Haiti just wanted to take longer time to answer it by asking to repeat the question. And actually earthquake is a natural disaster and it’s not the name she failed at. French gave a solid answer.

Wow, I think Haiti's answer is slightly better than France's. But France's answer is really great too and she really deserved the crown. I love them both.
