Couldnt put it better. Kyle Busch came back from breaking his leg and won the championship, but his entire career wasn’t in danger because of it. Last year a lot of us thought Larson would never have a competitive ride again.

Not only is this an incredible comeback story for Kyle Larson (talk about making the best of your second chance!), but this must be a very special championship for Rick Hendrick. The 5 was the first car he ever fielded, and it's carrying the colours driven by his late son Ricky. Congrats to Kyle and the entire 5 team.

He did. He had the best car all year. It really shows how much he overperformed at Gnassi. Maybe next time someone is stuck with a mid pack team they can just say a racial slur on stream and level up

I remember DW predicting that Kyle was going to be one of the greatest while he was still a rookie.

Proud of Kyle Larson! 1st Nascar racer with asian descent to win a Nascar championship! Yay!

I rooted for chase in 2020 but when Kyle joined I knew I was gonna root for him like I did Jeff and he absolutely smacked the field all season

Something funny about this is that chase finished the same place as Jimmie Johnson did last year

I mean, we kind of expected it with this domination. Congrats to Kyle

Larson was the man all season, piled up double digit wins for the first time in 14 yrs in Cup, he was the one that deserved it most. Guy can wheel a car, can wheel a sprint car, can wheel a dirt car. Hendrick saw it, and was willing to pay for it himself to get him. HMS is back, and they have a core than will last a decade or more.

Looking back on this, great call from the camera director to keep the shot on Kyle. Love this

I think Larson has way more talent then JJ. We'll see in the coming up years.

I challenge anyone to say there has ever been a better burnout for the fans than that one. Pays homage to Alan Kulwicki and never lifts all the way around the corner so every seat gets the same show, not just the ones at the start/finish line

That particular paint scheme on the #5 must be great luck. Brian Vickers in 2003 had the best year he ever had in any nascar series and won the Busch championship, and this year Larson dominates in the same paint job.

Chase Elliott is going to be chasing the spoiler of that 5 car for the rest of his career.

I stopped pulling for Hendrick cars after Jimmie Johnson retired, I pull for Tyler Reddick now, and I'm impressed with his season, but Larson dominated this year and earned this championship. Great run.

Halfway through the season there was no doubt in my mind that Kyle Larson was going to win I placed $100 bet in Vegas 6 months ago and it paid off no doubt in my mind at all and I'm right now predicting that he will win a second in a row next year because he is the best Nascar driver to come along in many years and I would almost put my money on three-in-a-row going after Jimmy Johnson's five in a row. I watched him come up as a teenager in California I watched Cameron dirt tracks all over United States I knew he was going to go to NASCAR because I talked to him in the pits many times and I knew he would be a champion when he was only 15 or 16 I knew because it's eating his eyes the same looked Dale Earnhardt ad you can just know when you talk to people and look at people in the face that they are driven and they are champions and they are not going to give up until they win the big prize

If not for a brake rotor coming off a car and falling in the middle of the track at the end of the race, Martin Truex Junior is probably the champ. With Kyle being the dominant car all year, I wonder how that would've fired up the NASCAR fan base over the offseason, about the playoff format.

His car just went away at the end of the race. He looked like he was heading for another title in the middle of it. If not for that late debris caution, Truex wins the title.
