You know what gets me? If that scene in the black shows how long people survived, the twins made it there with you, at the end, and not far beyond. And that makes me happy (and sad)

And here is where the fans collectively went "OH NO HE'S HOT!!" Hell of an upgrade from that potato sack he used to wear...

I can't believe I didn't notice this before but around 5:05 when the camera pans over the WoL and the twins, it looks like Alphinaud and Alisaie are holding hands, like they were trying to reach for eachother after the WoL fell. This scene is already heartbreaking but now it's even more so.

Based on where they were, it looked the WoL died trying to protect the twins. Or the twins died trying to protect the WoL. And I'm honestly not sure which is more upsetting :(

Of *course* he'd have ensorcelled the door to open when approached.

Can someone explain the diff of of the first world and the source I am not able to understand, no spoiler please.

The Source is essentially the original world that was split into pieces. Sort of world A. The First is the first shard of the world. The first one to split off from the main world. If it helps, it's part of the background lore and not a huge spoiler. They talk about it a bit post-Heavensward.
