With the Vegas teaser, there was no way they would show the caster first. The melee didn't surprise me except I didn't think it would be two swords. I don't get how the stream was quiet, I heard them very clearly and I had it on low volume too.

The viper in the background idk just gives me a Lost Ark job trailer...

Can they please allow viper to equip a sword in main hand and off hand like paladin. That addition would allow so much glamour variety.

they would have to change that option for the ninja as well then...otherwise outrage. Always wanted that option for ninja. Wouldn't be fair if ninja 2.0 gets it and not the og.

What class are you talking about? Paladin can’t equip a sword in the offhand, the shield goes there.

when i started playing FF14 i was playing FF11 i was in the 90's.

I adore that Kate is so well loved. Viper is definitely inspired by Zidane at least a little bit. Dual blades, sword staff, Trance ability.

You know, with all the speculation on what the caster might be, I haven't seen anyone guess at it being some kind of tech mage. Also, I hope the trailer music is the battle music and starts at the beginning for every fight

It has to be one within the final fantasy archives that doesn’t have an official name. The Viper with its two blades that comes together is clearly what Zidane wields in FF9. Maybe here’s a caster job out there that we haven’t considered.

My tmnt job hint was a job that could use multiple weapons so i was pretty close.. i wonder though if there will be some sort of tmnt tie in with the knunchuks...

Honestly, the new graphical update looks amazing. The flora, lighting and landscapes look so much better. Viper looks amazing to, if even if It reminds me of Edward Kenway from Black Flag.

The vets are and those who aren’t are hoping that the next saga will repeat the success of the first, but there is also a lot of new competition coming out over the next several years. Going to be interesting to see what Square-Enix plans to do over the next 5 years

@@Work2Game I’m not even a hardcore FFXIV player. I pre-ordered Endwalker back when that was available and didn’t even install it. I beat Shadowbringers and it was great! But they really do repeat a lot of the same formula over and over. Get tomestones. Get gear. Half way through they give the Anima weapons. Rinse and repeat. I’m trying to be hyped but I haven’t got that spark yet from what I’m seeing.

(loud profanities) Come on, stop putting all the job unlock quest in Ul'dah! Give Gridania a bone now and then! X(

@@MisteRRYouTuby so lighting, shader, PBR pipeline, fog changes, subsurface scattering etc can’t be done by modders, these are base game engine changes. Modders can do good texture work but it’s client side this is for everyone to enjoy. The game is old… it needs to update in some capacity to appeal to as many audience as possible even wow done it and so did ESO. Also your views are just your opinion, I share some thoughts but the way your writing it is so dramatic… their direction or writing on the wall has been clear if it’s taken you this long to see it then that’s on you. The game isn’t dying it’s far from it… but you still playing the game rather then cancelling your sub or whatever doesn’t help your cause, it just means you’ll give money regardless of your views on the product
