New ffx player and I just want to thank you so much for your guide!! Amazing effort and it's well appreciated. I did make a few changes, I didn't start grinding until the monster capturing. The game is already long enough as it is with the cutscenes and playing a new run on console is just a nightmare. Besides, the game is really not hard at all anyway. When you get to omega dungeon and inside sin you can rack up a ton of sphere levels in a single battle. If I had the pc port ngl, I would've spent an entire day on ss liki 😅😂

Another option, if you don't feel like running Yuna through the grid yet and putting the work in on Anima, With your statted up characters, reflect - slow - holy - copycat 24x, set your cursor to memory. I can't get an overkill but a full expert sphere grid magic stat "without magic nodes added" deals about 50kish. For me I'll have to do the battle 26 times to get my 255 magic stat. Idk if that's faster than doing all the stuff with Yuna or not at 5 mins per battle

Question regarding animas stats: I've interpreted from your expert grid overppowered videos to max animas magic and probably strength before continuing yunas grid(I took her down lulus on the expert and stopped at doublecast.) I can't really find any info out there on what to do now besides one game FAQ post saying to raise animas agi and evasion before yuna?

I have been replaying the game on my PS2 and been using these guides. You are fucking awesome, dude. I will definitely be reusing your guides when I play the game again when I get my new PC.😂

Thanks for the walkthroughs and guides man, you've been a huge help! Is there any point in maxing any of the Aeons? I just realised that since Anima naturally breaks HP/MP limit that they in theory could reach 99999/9999, but that kind of grind sounds super long and perhaps extremely unnecessary? Is there any Aeon that won't have one or more stats maxed after Yuna have her own stats maxed?

Glad to hear you've found it useful! The Aeon's stats scale very differently from Yuna's and from each other. Most of their stats will naturally be lower than Yuna's stats when she's maxed, and some will be higher. For example Anima will always hit 255 really, really early but she'll virtually never reach max Agility. Shiva is extremely fast with high Magic but her MP will only top out at about 350ish naturally. There's no point maxing the Aeon's other stats otherwise. It's a ridiculously long, tedious grind for each stat. You're into the realm of No Sphere Grid challenge playthroughs for that kind of stuff. I love this game a ton....but I have more fun things to do with my time than those life-sucking challenge runs.

@@DPhoenix237 I'd imagine it would be super tedious. I was thinking of just trying to increase Animas stats at first while Yunas stats are somewhat low but realised that there are a couple of more aeons that'd want the same treatment if I was actually going to min/max that route. Yeah, no haha.

filling completely the basics nodes, like skill, def, strength, etc is enough to beat almost any enemy? then later can I farm the luck, mp spheres or others?

Thanks man! I'm not sure what they are off the top of my head, but I know they're a little lower so it needs some extra spheres adding. The Stat Maxing FAQ on gamegaqshas the full list, and how many +4 spheres you need as well! It's linked in the description.

i noticed a severe bump in turns when i went from 170 agility to 255 but it seems to be extremely random.. i cant get like 10 turns without quick hit even on some hard enemies or 5 sometimes maybe this is also based on luck

Look into 'Ticks' in FFX; it's complicated.

I understand so if I have clear spheres I should delete the Stat nodes HP +200 MP +20 others + 1, 2 and 3 and replace them with HP +300 MP +40 others +4 correct? So I got Masamune, Godhand and Nirvana full power so I should do the rest before farm and screw the Sphere Grid like that. I never know unless I try.

There are two separate playlist...one for a normal 9999 playthrough and one for 99K BHPL. It depends which one you want to do. You don't gave to delete any nodes unless you're going to use BHPL.

@@DPhoenix237 Okay so it's all other stats like strength Stamina Magic and Spirit Etc that I should give so it depends in my view is that right? Reason I keep asking is because I hadn't fight and defeated the Dark Aeons yet and I have to complete all other side quests and mini games and other sigils to completely power C.Weapons and to capture all other monster types so you're right. It depends on witch one I want to do. But right now I'm saving up Gil to max in the Thunder Plains with Rikku in the party but don't worry her Godhand is completely activated and has an Auto-Ability that double the Gil earned and by defeating the cactus creeps I get 9,000 even. But thanks for those tips.

So, I've been trying to max out my sphere grid for all my characters as I've been able to farm all the different spheres for strength, agility, defense, etc. However, i really need some ways to get lvl.4 spheres in order to max out my grids... Love the video btw!

Well, there are two good ways to do it. Wither bribe Chimaera Brain (Calm Lands...just fight them in the arena) for about 100k per time (1 lvl4 Sphere). Or, if Nemesis is unlocked, just fight him and Mug (NOT Steal) until he kills you. That's about 2 or 3 steals depending on how lucky you get, and it only costs 25k to fight him so that's the best way money-wise. You need to have beaten all the other creations first though, obvs.

I hit fenrir every time almost 98 percent with only the base luck stats but i have max accuracy

Can you please explain more detail how can you raise the Anima's status so high by stop raising Yuna's status? I don't understand that part. Thanks a lot!

What does agility do?

It's essentially 'Speed'. Roughly speaking, it's how quickly you get your first turn, how many turns you get before the enemy moves, and how many turns you get relative to the enemies.

I was wondering when Yuna was gonna start eating her greens.

Aye, if you're wanting to raise Magic then this helps a ton. You can beat all the Dark Aeons without her being raised at all, but it is particularly useful to have her Agility very high because then she can summon Aeons as a shield and get a turn quickly to tag out again. It doesn't take long to max her stats so I personally like to do it that way.

@@Virus16th For this regular HP playthrough I just did Tidus, Rikku, Wakka and Yuna. The others are easy to do, there isn't anything different that you'd have to do. Just get them Triple AP weapons, customise Overdrive to AP and either Double or Triple Overdrive, then take them through the board. I did the Break HP Limit series already! The order is markedly different so I treated it as a whole new series. It is under the Playlist section of my channel.

@@claudiopolonia7854 according to my very humble amount of research, the Japanese name is ティーダ (Tida... not Tidus... and definitely not Tedus or Teedus). So the Japanese name argument is out. As for official pronunciations... there is precedent in other Square games for BOTH pronunciations. Such as Teedus being in Kingdom Hearts 1, and Tiedus being in Kingdom Hears 2. The issue you will run into with other official things will again be translation. The only definitive official pronunciation would be what the person who created the name would officially pronounce it as. Again I have completed some humble amounts of research and I was unable to find any video of Kazushige Nojima pronouncing the name. That doesn't mean there isn't any video... I just have not been able to find it.

@@claudiopolonia7854 the English voice actor doesn't matter at all. Not even the Japanese voice actor matters. I don't understand why you think it does. The only person who matters is the person who CREATED the character, and that's Kazushige Nojima. Now he probably has said how it's pronounced, but I haven't seen it.
