@@rurikgalloway9681 The item name shouldn't affect the mini game. I would check the record book in the travel agency to confirm you actually dodged 200 lightning strikes.

Yay! my Xbox has the International names.

Thank you so much for mentioning the Crater method. I ended up doing it on my file, then hopping onto my Dad's file since he was never able to dodge even 5 lightning strikes, let alone 200 LMAO. He asked me to do his after I did mine, I managed to dodge all 400 lightning strikes without failing once!! The Crater method is a Godsend. Now I just gotta get Wakka's weapon, which my Dad is gonna get FOR me since I don't like playing Bllitzball. An eye for an eye I suppose.

That predictable spot where you run back and forth was the one!! Thanks!!

I lost my touch. Back in the day on ps2 I dodged 200 lightning bolts then surprised my buddy by loading his save and doing it for him when he was gone. I didn’t even use no encounters. Would stand still in a good spot. Dodge 5 or so then run back to that spot. Sometimes going into battles. The worst was an immediate strike after the battle. But this playthrough on the switch. I think I dodged 6 in a row once. Lol. Did the crater thing. It’s sooooo much better. Did it for like 25 minutes just to be sure and didn’t count so I didn’t choke and actually did 400 dodges.

Thank you so much, I was about to give up on this one but the glitch method makes it sooo much easier.

Man did the crater method and i messed up a few times but i got it done in about 45 minutes

I've already upgraded the Masamune, and got the crest for Nirvana. I'll have to go back to all the Chambers of the Fayth in order to get the Signa for Nirvana, so I may as well wait until I'm strong enough for that and Caldabolg together. That just leaves Kimahri, Rikku, Lulu and Wakka. Lulu's weapon is next on my hit list 😈💪

@@jyeah6244lol that’s what I’m doing on Xbox one X right now and I’m good at Blitz ball while have Tidus and Wakka and Brother together but I dunno when the Sigil will appear as a prize and Lulu is well..........

She has the worst overdrive and the hardest to obtain weapon. But you gotta do it for the trophies. God damn it.

It worked very easy to open the chest with onion knight weapon, but only after defeating the boss! Before defeating the boss it was impossible!

Now I’m finally down to just this oh god help ME!!

4 simple steps? Disagree. 3 simple steps and 1 step that should be illegal.

Dude the crater trick makes it so easy played since the ps2 never even tried to get hers just tried it and got it like it was nothing. Just trying to fight dark aeons for the first time and wanted everything ha soo easy

@@LL-kc9ly yea, same. Still took me probably 5-6 tries getting 100-150+ but the closest I ever got without the crater was probably 75.

I counted 200 strikes and i went back to the chest to collect. I got prizes for up to 150 lightning strikes then the box disappeared!?! I didn't get a sigil? Answers please!?!

There is a book in the travel agency on the Thunder Plains that will tell you what your record is. Remember that all dodges have to be consecutive with no hits and without changing map screens. Hope this helps!

The chest only appears if you have a prize waiting for you. Once you collect that prize, you need to reach another milestone before it will return.

this game has some bullshit mini games and requirements. no fun at all but i still love this game lol

Unfortunately that glitch is not a thing on my game...

I did it 200 times and i only got potions 🙄, it says 352 lighting bolts have struck me and i’ve succesfully dodged 224 strikes and 11 consecutive bolts idk if that has an effect on anything

You have to use a piece of equipment with the "No Encounters" ability. Ghost and Wraith fiends have a chance of dropping armor, and the Geosgaeno at Baaj Temple has a 50% chance of dropping a weapon.

I have a armor piece on Lulu called “Peaceful Bangle” and it has No encounters on it.

Can I save and or load in between dodging or does tht reset the counter?
