Her Overdrive: Diamond Dust causes over 80,000 hit points of damage! And I thought Dark Bahamut dealt with more damage on his Mega Flare! If you can't survive her Diamond Dust, switch to Yuna and summon or Auto-Life instead. The best part is the ending of this battle; we went back in time, I guess the Guado's are still mad! Enjoy~! =)
Note: Shiva's Instant Death attack: Heavenly Strike causes Berserk and Power Break. You can't really do anything about it if she uses it, just use Auto-Life , or Auto-Phoenix Down.
Boss: Dark Aeon: Dark Shiva (Overkill)
HP: 1,100,000 (99,999)
AP: 20,000 (30,000)
Weapon & Armor Drops: Break Damage Limit, Break HP Limit, Ribbon, Ice Eater, Ice Strike.
Also, go back to Macalania Temple after you defeat Dark Shiva. I didn't know this before, but there is a back door to the very bottom of the Temple to grab a Magic Sphere from the Fayth and an Accuracy and Magic Defense Sphere from the treasure chests.

lol my first experience fighting a "dark" aeon was this battle with dark shiva. battle started, and she kicked me 3 times. each kick = killed one character. game over.

Phil Moufarrege I swear. That was the same experience I had too. Back in 2009. It all came as a huge shock to me
With Dolby Digital on my Xbox one X the original music sounds excellent and more serious!
It's sort of like optional missions. But after you fight Yunalesa and Sin, the Dark Aeons are available to fight, just make sure you do mini-quests first, like Auron's Spheres in Besaid Island before Dark Valfor and grabbing Tidus's Sun Crest before Dark Bahamut shows up.
Just kicked her butt in 60 seconds. Having 255 Luck and Auto-Life made the fight a breeze.
I spent 2 hours capturing enemies and didn't save because I played this game a lot as a kid and I didn't go anywhere hard and let's check out machalania temple and boom died before getting any turns.

Speaking of Dark Shiva, I just beat her on my setting. But my team is a little bit weaker than yours lol. My strongest character has 16,000hp and the rest of them didn't even have Break HP limit.
seriously how much work do you need to do to get to this level? Ive seen where guys have maxed out stats and they say you need it but I dont wanna level grind forever just to get it, plus I've seen them beat with just 9999 health, I've beaten valefor and ifrit before but never shiva, shes too damn fast, always wastes me, and also I seem to recall there was a way to get back into the temple another way? Or am I crazy?
