I love how ultima is using clouds final weapon from ff7 . When i first saw this as a kid, i was soo shocked to see that.

Bro the sound from the Light Pillar attack....that scared me sooo hard when i was a kid...

That tune is fire and quistis whip sound before the fight really makes you feel the intensity

Just getting down here was fucking annoying it takes like an hour and the monster encounters were hard as hell. At least for me at that time when i played. Needless to say this fight pissed me off so much because I'd die so fast. Ironically i've beaten omega weapon but never ultima due to the difficulty and annoyance of getting down to this spot. I wonder if i can do this now as an adult if i ever get this game again

Ultima is also annoying. The only reason I go through minus for Bahamut at the beginning is to get Eden (strongest GF and has two great Junctions) and Curse Spikes (have Zell and stay near the second save point to get only Triface). 100 Curse Spikes = 1 Dark Matter = Shockwave Pulser (Quistis' strongest limit break)

@@ayakotami3318 you can get Eden from the Tiamat boss in Ultimecia’s castle. That was the only way I got it and that was by pure chance because i thought i wouldn’t get anything of importancce by drawing from him

Strategy was too conservative. You could have used Quistis’ Shockwave Pulsar a bunch of times, plus Selphie is a great all-rounder. Two players pulverise the enemy: Squall and Quistis. Selphie plays all-rounder and handles the middle work. Meltdown should always be cast at the beginning of the battle. You learn through experience, though. FF8 leans hard on strategy with the junctioning system. Happy to give tips if you like.

I beat it in a few minutes without meltdown. Character levels range from 40-100, strong spells junctioned, cast triple on one character and that character cast aura on all 3. Then after a few rounds of limit breaks, it went down. Only needed one round of full life for one character and curaga. I was gonna have the character with triple do haste on all was but it wasn’t even necessary

Viajei no tempo, lembro muito bem , foi uma alegria surreal quando eu matei esse .monstro , detalhe levei quase 1 mes , depois de muito tempo descobrir que por ali por perto tinha um lugar pra salvar o jogo , eu passei dele depois de descer aquela caverna toda , enfrentando só bicho forte , mais conseguir e foi uma felicidade só, já tinha quebrado uns 3 cd do número 3 de 4 , de tanta raiva , mais não desistir não 😂😂

That was a good fight. He has 255 sped stat if he's level 100 which is a pain in the ass. He can use light pillar three times' in a row done it to me once. On to Omega weapon.

I still remember one of my first playthroughs. Got down to Ultima and beat him. Remembered Eden and reloaded. Beat him but forgot about Eden. . .AGAIN. Next! Died. Let's try that again and getting rather annoyed with this guy. Nearly died and Angelo saved my butt with Invincible Moon. Squall got Eden and Zell next with a long limit sequence followed by a Wishing Star. Done! Basically said a dog saved my hide in the end. Thanks Angelo! Guy is still annoying tbough. 😤

Just drops Ultima on his head at the end. Squalls like yeah your dead stay down. Real unlucky with the Lionheart throughout huh?😅

Wow, Ultima is such a jerk in this fight.

The journey down to Ultima was worse than fighting Ultima. Draw Eden, cast Meltdown, cast Aura on Squall, Renzo-lionheart, dead.

Anything in this game is a smooth sail the moment you discover what Meltdown actually does😂. Also, Quistis' Degenerator. "Hi, Marlboro! Hi, Ruby Dragon! Goodbye, hardest Islands, I'm LV. 96 now!" Now Ozma in FFIX, without a walkthrough, yep, that one HURT😢!

@@lennefujimura He was a pain until I decided I just wasn't going to steal from him. After that it was fairly easy to just DPS him down before a second meteor happened.

@@alster724 Are you sure? Because, you know, Cloud is not exactly known for his marksmanship skills, according to the SHINRA Corp military branch and also Rufus', Vincent's and Barett's personal testimonies. I cannot imagine Chocobo Head with a sh00ting sword and I adore that Chocobo sch1zo Head!

I remember when i fought this guy... First time, i ate him... then i remembered i didn't draw Eden. Ok then, load... Second time, i tried to draw... no character in my team had draw! Ok then, load... Third time, i went hyper offensive like in my first try and put one of my characters to draw. They didn't have the time to draw -.- Ok then, load! Fourth time was a charm :3

I don't know how but i one shot him with Lionheart 😮

It needs that FF7 remake done to it, flesh out that sorceress war out more and less jumping around with laguna or maybe make his parts a little more streamlined
