this song brings me back to simpler times. one of the few times in my life where I knew in that very moment that these were gonna be the good ole days in 20 years time. The time i spent playing ff8 will be cherished.

Uematsu was the composer back then. Less about Squaresoft prior to their merge with Enix and more about the raw talent of individuals.

Possibly the best song written for an FF game. I was 18 years old when I played the game. A good friend of mine was staying with me for the summer while his family's home was being remodeled and we spent hours and hours playing this game unlocking every secret GF and weapon or item. This song always takes me back to that wonderful summer.

I got to the end of the 3rd disc and I had read that if I start in on the 4th disc, then there would be some things I can't go back and get to complete collecting everything. As a result, I never actually finished the game since I never went on to the 4th disc.

Many PS1 RPG will be my loved games, especially FF 7/8/9, Chrono Cross, Legend of Mana, Legend of Dragoon :) Those games had real magic. And Final Fantasy music up to FF 10 was something diffrent.

Rinoa才是FF第一女性，远超TIFA。在游戏中这个人物塑造的实在太丰满了，叛逆，任性，善良，惶恐，彷徨各种人有的Rinoa都有。Rinoa 不是完美的，但是她是唯一一个真的像人的。更别说Rinoa 和 阿尔迪米希亚 给玩家带来的无限遐想。FF8 我心中永远的神作。

リノアが弾いてるのをみてるみたいでしっかりお母さんの遺伝子受け継いでるなぁとなんか思ったり…優しい気持ちになる。

Literally put chills, this woman is truly amazing

there are many final fantasy series but the final fantasy 8 series is the one I like the most and the first rpg game I played, the theme song touched my heart. The sound of the piano, the background, the lights, the clothes you're wearing is absolutely amazing

22 years ago, I went to cinema to watch final fantasy 8 animation and fell in love when I heard this song by Faye Wong. Since then this song had been in my mind till this day. I never expect to hear a new rendition of this song again after so many years.
