That’s a very difficult song for a contralto like me 😅 but I will give it a try😊

While I love your voice and the song, your rendition in some of this does not do justice to the original. For example at 2:50 it should be "so let me come to you, close as I wanna be'". As a fan of the original I might be too hyper critical, however I do believe that we can only grow if we pay attention to the critics as well as the fans.

Yup, my bad about the lyrics, I should have checked instead of doing it by heart! 1999 was long time ago! Btw, I never do covers to be better than the originals, I just try to convey my emotions in songs that means a lot to me 😊 sorry if you didn’t like, I tried my best being a contralto. But I was dancing in my head with Squall… 💙🪽

@@NicolettaRosellini Honestly, I think nearly everyone would love to dance with Squall x'D I could tell that you had fun with this cover. It's not a bad cover by any means! You might not do covers to be better than the originals, but I think you certainly did just that with a bunch of them; Turn loose the Mermaids is one of them, that cover of yours is something I come back to quite regularly.
