And yeah and see what happened when Cloud was confronted with the truth? He lost himself and gave Sephiroth the black materia. Tifa has all the reasons why she couldn't confront him, aside from doubting her own memories (she was also traumatized, not just Cloud), she knew he was unwell everytime she asked him Jeonva blocks the conversation and he gets massive headaches. PAY ATTENTION.

Sephiroth only told HALF the truth. He deliberately (and very conveniently) left out the fact that Cloud was the nameless infantryman who managed to get the better of him in combat. Partly because he wanted to mess with Cloud, and partly because he was angry and humiliated that he, the great Sephiroth, the most powerful SOLDIER alive, was defeated by a mere grunt. And as for Tifa: I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt here. She isn’t completely sure of what happened either. In her mind, she was almost 100% certain that Cloud wasn’t in Nibelheim 5 years ago, and yet he was able to recall details of what happened with near perfect accuracy, and knew things he could only know if he WAS there. So she was just as confused as he was. Also, Tifa was grievously wounded, lost a lot of blood, and was likely in and out of consciousness. So I doubt she saw Cloud take off his mask in the first place.

Sephiroth really likes tormenting people even though he see himself above everything. He see himself a God but is actually extremely petty and cruel.

Idk how are they planning to abridged this part XD......
