It would be kind of odd if whoever got Biggs off the tower just went and took Jessie's gloves and not her. I am sure in part 2 we will be treated with how exactly they were saved. Wedge, however, I am not so sure about.

@@thenerdnetwork the only reason her gloves were on the nightstand it was all that they could recover from the wreckage of the section 7 scaffold collapse a body dissolved into the LifeStream and they haven't told Biggs that his girlfriend is dead the waiting for him to come to as how the hell Biggs got down from the scaffold I'll never know and don't say cat Sith assisted him he didn't get down there and to after the plate collapsed for now we'll leave a mystery of bigs getting off the scaffold and wedge was thrown out the window of the Shinra headquarters right before aerith and Barrett had a fight assault Shinra battle tank a few minutes before that before he got thrown out the windows wedges final words were please guys tell me I made a difference for these Whispers toss them out the window at the Shinra headquarters and you heard him hit the ground so it looks like Biggs is a soul survivor Survivor guilt going to hit him hard

I knew the remake would go further into their deaths but holy hell I didn’t expect this. I’ve never cried so hard at a video game

They really made Cloud a much more likable character in the remake. I’m a diehard ff7 fan and I love the remake more than i ever thought i could. Moments like this are exactly why.

Cloud’s facial expressions are so priceless. The many times he tries to hold back his tears. Video games are amazing.

You can clearly see Cloud is absolutely pissed off, from facial expressions to body language. And the player immediately relates to him, because they're feeling the same way. This is how powerful this scene is.

After that Scene, I just waited for a while. Tifa was looking at her body... I couldn't move. She just stared at her dead friend.... Damn that got me

I just realized that..

For the people saying healing materia or phoenix downs were enough to save them, since the original FF7 they mentioned that healing spells and stuff are only useful for surface wounds, or for a quick fix before getting serious. When Tifa was attacked by Sephiroth, her master Zangan had to carry her to Midgar to find a good doctor since his healing spells were losing effect on her. So in other words, healing magic or even resurrect magic are just good First Aid kits.

Okay.. so you can heal *in* game with potions and similar things when you have just a hair of health.. a HAIR.. the equivalent of just a sneez away from death, basically saying that you have *deep* and *severe* wounds, yet you couldn't do the same with these characters? I get what you mean, and the reasoning behind it, but the inconsistencies are just kinda.. frustrating? It's like when you are playing with Cloud, and you can't jump over a tiny gap, so you need to find "another" way to get to your objective, when in cut scenes, he be jumping like a mutated bunny on steroids on rubble MID AIR... like what😂

@@MDkilgore Technically, you never "die" in combat. The prompt always says "X fell inconcious". Having 1HP is close to passing out, not close to death so no inconsistencies whatsoever

Same man...as a rule it takes a LOT for me to shed tears..but i got so invested into Jessie's character...loved her personality and outlook...and then when she died tears instantly flew down my face like a river...i was unable to play the game for like ten minutes!! Square Enix knocked it out of the park making us emotionally invest in what were minor side characters in the original!

"Its not polite to stare ya know." Is good last words. Reminds me "The Stand" where the family dog goes underneath porch before it dies, because like the dog, or Jessie, we all ultimately die alone.

The fact that Jessie’s death already hits hard makes me realize that none of us are ready to watch Aerith die in HD

I admit..upon seeing this scene I had tears streaming down my face and it took me about 5 minutes to resume play. I loved her character in this game and got attached to her...yeah i know its just a fucking game but damn did it tug at my heartstrings! "You owe me a pizza" is the nicest things Cloud said to Jessie the whole game.

Why am I here 4 years later? Because only now have I gotten an opportunity to play this fantastic game. God dang how did they make Jessie so darn likable.

In the original I was sad when Jessie died. In the remake I was genuinely sobbing

Whenever the final game comes out, the after credit scene should be Cloud getting a pizza from an unknown person!

Love FF. Ten was the first one I played. I was really excited for this remake as it’s one of the main FFs anyone ever talks about. I was not prepared for the amount of feels in this game. This scene in particular, had me bawling my eyes out. I was not expecting to feel any kinds of way about this game.

I thought that "You owe me a pizza!" was edited in for laughs in Dunkey's video. But Cloud actually says it hahaha.

There is a semi canon novel (Hoshi o Meguru Otome), where Aeris after dying meet the spirits of Jessie, Biggs and Wedge and talk to them, and find out that they cant return to the planet, because they are filled with guilt about the people they killed. So, sleep on that .

Just was playing the original and forgot Jessie’s death was barely even a footnote…and yet people call the remake bloated. This scene is so beautifully heartbreaking. They really made Cloud so much more likable in the Remake. I’ll take the occasional searching for lost cats side quest any day if the rest of the trilogy gives us expanded moments like this.

It’s literally only nostalgia when people try to say the OG characters are better written, or that Jessie was more then a Footnote. I’m literally playing OG again, first time since I was a kid, after playing Remake, as a grown man. I’ll take this modern variation over the OG any day.

The weird thing is that i thought jessie will be cloud romance when i played the original game, so when they killed her early i was surprised.

I've played a bit of final fantasy on ps2 and 15 but never got into them, but this game was phenomenal. I didn't know anything from this game except some of the characters because of kingdom hearts and its probably one of the best games I've played in 2020. Can't wait for part 2

I am always team Clerith, but I loved Jessie in this new one she had so much character. This was an emotional scene for sure.

I was crushed just like i was when Aeris/Aerith was killed back in 97. Jessie really stole my heart in this.

The script writers and the voice actors deserves so much props for this. Every scene isn't just packed with great music but the dialogue is so good, and so real. It's not cringe like most vg scenes. They have the right side comments, the right words to say, and the acting also done with it both in the english and japanese is masterclass. The animators too, just as how real their expressions and body language is to real people and how real people would likely react.

This is why you should always equip the Cure and Revive materia on you at all times.

When this very scene happened when I played this game. I literally had to pause it for a few minutes cause I was bawling my eyes out. They really fleshed out Jessie's character so much in the Remake, that I was left crying when this happened. I really wish there was a way to see her again afterwards. At the very least just one more time.

Me before this video: "I mean, I'll obviously be able to watch this scene again without bursting into tears immediately, right?" "Jeez Tifa, if you could see the look on your face..." *eyes full of tears, barely holding them in* "So... you're the guy... who gets to hear my last words..." *completely losing it and immediately bursting into tears*

Even you have healing materia,you still can't save someone you loved😔

I've never cried so much in any game I've played except this one scene here 😭

I didn't even played final fantasy, but this is heartbreaking man... I can't watch it. Props to square for making this game so emotional. I will play it eventually in the future, that's a promise.

You gotta love how clean FF's deaths are. Looking at her she just looks dirty. No wounds.

This makes me wonder, since everyone else is alive, I can see all 3 of them having amnesia, but just Avalange/CloudTifaBarret. Biggs waking up, not remembering Avalanche, Wedge's fall made his memory wiped out. And we all know Jessie's hints about being an actress at the Gold Saucer, Cloud see's her there after the show and says he thought she was dead, her reply is "Who are you?" ...Buuuuuut I know its not gonna happen and some backshit insane things will change the original game now that the whispers are gone...I think.

The ending of the video games shows an alternate past with Zack isn't dead and the shows an alternate timeline for Bigs joins up with the Avalanche so it's not the bigs you know but Biggs of an alternate past and Jesse still alive in that alternate pass these events Show how he decide to join the Avalanche and that is why he's injured any joints after his injury while speculation but makes more sense then someone pulling off a scaffold before it collapsed remember in this alternate timeline Jesse raspberry may very well be alive

She is still alive, I'm sure, in the final scene of the game, her bandana and one of her gloves can be seen on the table in the room where Biggs is. She probably took him there.

She is dead no way they could survive the explosion in that state also she's nowhere in part 2 and 3 of the original game

@@prajiturel2902 Well, I think from what I've seen, it's just what I believe. The 2nd and 3rd part of the game will probably change from the original. Everything is open, as Cloud and company defeat the whispers of fate.

Whoever rescued Biggs would have most likely have rescued her too.

When I say that I've never fucking cried harder than I did in this scene I mean it. I surprised myself at what a mess I fucking was! Poor Jessie :'(

God I was so fucking sad! I can't get over this scene. It was that fucking smile that got me from the start. Why Jessie!?! WHY!?!?!?

I love it, how these games always have characters with reviving abilities and freaking Phoenix Down, but they never use it on their loved ones.

This was so good. Made me so freaking sad. I hope they put a lot of effort into dyne and Barrets story, like they did in this one. That story is so freaking sad as well. What an amazing game. I can wait for part 2 and 3.

I remember I was so mad after this scene I raged against the boss..in this scene normally I struggled against them but somehow I managed to defeat this one in a single time..probably the rage 🤣

Back for the intergrade release man this scene hurts and it hurts even more when you realize that they will never have that pizza again since her parents were in the plate above 😭

The amount of times I looked back at Jessie before leaving is sad. Every time I looked it got sadder. 😭😭😭
