His Zantesuken can literally activate after only 2 hits or maybe it’s a glitch / bug that happened for me since it only happened once for me.

There is no bug u just have to understand the mechanics. I done this on LV 44 against Odin on full strength and Dynamic difficult, only my chakra and vita materia was on max.

Not casting ONE detrimental magic on him like the asses explain. Wow, good job not activating the zantetsuken then. Must be cheating. I take him down faster than this because I pressure him twice. I use debrave, defaith and bioga like the asses explain. He dont activate zantetsuken then. His "mood" is controlled with not geting hit, and when you get hit you have the stop him from using zantetsuken with detrimental magic. Its rather easy, but like its done here is not possible.

@@shadowghostization It has to be. It literally says “taking too many hits”. If 2 hits are too many than that’s a pretty awful description, and it only ever happened once for me, the rest of the retry’s it was several hits before he initiated Zantetsuken.

Dont worry u dont have to be pro gamer to do this, i uploaded a full video how to win this fight with mechanics. But i would recomend a higher LV cause it wosnt easy on LV 44 it took me a few trys.@@Beckst

It's not the same Odin and no it's not a weaker version. He can do more than what Barnabas could do according to chadley this Odin can cut anything in two , the fabric of creation and time itself

For those who have trouble, ignore the Assess text and focus on doing as much damage as you can. Dodging and usijg ATB does not stop the Zantesuken build up. If you do enough damage he'll do Sleipnir's Furor and pressure him. In short, the fight is a DPS check.

Man this fight is so annoying sometimes he gets pressured after I use bio one time and one hit and other times he doesn’t get pressured no matter how many status effects or hits I use. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong.

Odin is unbeatable. He IMMEDIATELY uses Zantesuken! -.- Even on easy.

Keep him under debuffs and use weapon abylitis and try evade his attacks if u dont do this he will use zantesuken.

Have Cloud enter Punisher stance and just block and counter Odin's attacks - he should go into his backfoot mode very quickly. The fight's not that horrible once you understand the mechanics and cheese him with Cloud.

@@Malacite Yeah ur right i beat him with punisher stance and debuffs, he dindt use zantesuken. And i done it on difficult Dynamic against full power Odin, with LV 44. The guy in the video was playing on normal difficult with LV 70 and max FP materia. But u just need to play mechanics.

Dunno if it's true, but I felt the need to avoid using a skill twice in a row. I succeeded with cloud and tifa, normal mode with the easiest option to fight him.(dunno in English sorry)

Okay so I think there’s like an invisible bar that goes up and down depending if you get hit or not. When the fight starts the bar is low so if you get smacked straight away he’s gona cast his ult. I’ve had times late in the fight I’m blocking or dodging and then get hit a ton but cause I’ve been doing well beforehand he isn’t casting the ult as this “invisible bar” is high up.

What causes him to do "reprisal?" His counter move. That is what keeps messing me up. Seems to do it whether he is mid attack or not, long range or close.

He does not use after using some of his moves, and when he is in a backfoot state. Generally you need to wait for him to complete an attack like shimmering blade, and then start galloping before it's safe. You will get a feel for it. He additionally seems more likely to reprisal the less impressed he is with you.

Everytime he hits you, he gains "charges" of reprisal. Also, reprisal itself gains charges of itself by hitting you. No, the game does not tell you this anywhere. Odin has tons of stupid, hidden mechanics that the Access text doesn't even touch upon. Insane boss

Reraise materia is from doing tiny bronco stuff, getting points to then exchange to chadley, super late game stuff (ch12 or 13 I believe)

You have to collect all the protorelics and defeat a few summons around 2 is enough. Talk to Chadley to get the materia. Be sure to grind AP and get the materia that makes it a bit cheaper to use magic spells.

I feel like the asses info isnt needed in this fight. i try to dodge, block, debuff him just like the asses said. and i always got wiped of that freakin zantetsuken and reprisal. then i go on full DPS mode like theres no tomorrow, and destroyed him. he did not even had the chance to use G.warning. and its on full power Odin.

I don't think u have to dodge the attack , every hit we made will put a set back some kind of thing on the boss , i just keep attacking him with cloud and tifa nonestop with skill that deal multiple hits , he didn't even use the 1 shot skill

I used cloud barret yuffie with Phoenix ez pz, spam ninjitsu with yuffie from distance and have barret for heals, cloud for stagger. Summon Phoenix out ASAP and try to get all auto revives on team while she's out. Get revive on whoever is easiest to build up ATB and just grind him out slowly and safely. It worked for me with two tries. If he uses zen two times it's gg 😅

Odin is a joke, others battle where harder. Caith sith, barret and cloud stomp badly
