Seriously, Red's moves were funny enough on their own, but the kid bursting into frightened tears just had me dead.

The fact that he knows he can't quite pass for a normal person, so he covers it up by acting flamboyant is so adorable.

I haven’t played the remake yet (maybe when all parts are released and it’s in a sale I will), but I didn’t cringe to this. I think it gives character and charm to the game. There’s nothing worse than a boring and “safe” game.

Yeah, the new stuff back in ff7 remake were kinda bland, it tries itself to be serious yet fail to execute it. What makes ff7 so great are the fun, wacky moments. So glad ff7 rebirth embraced those moments.

​@@CavasUmbra to be fair, everything up until the gang escapes from Shinra and leaves to chase Sephiroth is kind of dreary to begin with so it makes sense that game took itself more seriously. The middle portion of the game though is where things intentionally get *wacky*

Throughout this chapter I was so worried my hopes for walking Red XIII would be dashed. Then this Thug Finals match happened and answered all of my prayers in the best way imaginable.

Cloud has spent so much effort building up this mask of a solemn stoic Soilder, yet he ends up surroundings himself with a bunch of pasionate goofballs. You appreciated these moment when they cause a crack in his facade.

I have a doggo at home too and he can't spin like a beyblade, do triple axels or summon the frickin sun. I feel walking on 2 legs isn't the most over the top thing about red :p

I love how when they're chatting at the table at the end of the match, you can see a guy behind Red looking down in confusion/concern at his tail.

dang, didn't know Red's got some dance moves, we should be lucky there isn't a Smash Bros dancing game, otherwise he would be the go to character to boogie down with.

So grace and smoth moves, i didn't see such ability since Kiryu destroyed Kamurocho discos dance floor a long time ago. THunderhead really did almost lose if he did also get his moves back there. Edit: But really, this is the kinda of thing that make this games such a master piece, this mini card game reminds me of FF8 one, hope this is a signal of the possibelity of a remake in near future and Red mantain the illusion even when they not watching, such a master of desguise indeed.

I just reached this part of the game and It made me smile SO much. Red is perfect.

This part took me by surprise as it was legitimately funny. They really nailed the comedy aspects of this game which they failed at in Remake. Red XII as a whole is just full of hilarious little one liners though, they really improved his character 300% between the original game and the remake trilogy
